Today is the day!
 

I just got a message that my baby was dropped off at the airport a little while ago! I can't believe he is coming today. I am so excited and nervous. I just hope he does ok on the flight, I know he is probably so scared. We are driving 2 hours to the airport and he should be getting here a little after 4. 4 can not get here fast enough!

I will post pictures of him tonight! Please keep our little furbaby in your thoughts and prayers as he travels today.

I will need the prayers returned tomorrow if you would please....as my new baby is coming from Michigan to live with us. I'm so glad you posted. Please keep us informed on how he is doing. So excited for you. Will this be your first pup or second?

This is our first yorkie (we have a yellow lab named Jake) he is coming from Ohio, I feel so lucky because we found a breeder there that we really like. I will be praying for you and your little one tomorrow.

I hope he does ok on the flight. Have the nutrical ready and I know you have lots of love waiting for him. You sound so excited and I completely understand.:)

Thanks everyone, I have been tracking his flight online. He was scheduled to leave at 11:30am but they actually left early...can you believe it. He has to stop in Houston though but I hope that fligt leaves early too!

I am trying to get together a little bag to take with me. So far I am taking towels and baby wipes (in case he pottied) also some bottled water and a little bowl. I am going to give him nutrical as soon as I get him out of that crate. I am also taking a little harness and leash so I can take him to potty before the car ride home (and we will probably stop about halfway as well). Oh and a little bit of food and some treats. If anyone has anything they would add to this list let me know.

I'm so excited for you. You can hear it in your writing. I remember when I got Mia, I counted down the minutes until I got to hold her and the excitement hasn't went away since. Good luck and yes don't forget the camera.... Good luck and keep us posted....:) :aimeeyork :thumbup:

Where's the baby? Where's the baby? Please give us an update! Derby and I are on pins and needles wondering how it went and if you have any advice for us for tomorrow. YAY!!!!! We are so excited for you. When you finish with the pics let us know how he did on the flight and what it was like where you picked him up and all that. Was he afraid? Excited? Confused?

we decided to name him Tucker...it just seemed to suit him. He got here safely thank goodness. The airport had us running all over though. First to the ticket counter, then to baggage claim, then back to ticket counter and then finally we had to drive around to the back of the airport where the cargo area is and pick him up there. I was so exciting to look into his little crate and see tho most adorable little face. The lady who was watching him didn't want to give him to us, she wanted to take him home! She also has a little yorkie. He did well on the 2 hour trip home but seemed a little sad and I sure scared. I held him most the time but he seemed to rather curl up down by my feet in the floorboard of the car (maybe he liked the vibration???). He has now really warmed up to us and we just love him! We quickly decided to get a big pet yard pen for him as he is so little and I am so worried about what he could get into.

The first pic is of him down in the floor of the car...doesn't he look so sad? poor baby! Then he looks much happier in the others once we were home. His face and nose need some cleaning as we got kinda messy with the nutrical...I thought he would just lick it off my finger but that didn't happen so it was a struggle to get any in him.
