Thank everyone. It seems your prayers helped. Angel is home now and doing fine. She's kinad groggy and whimpering a bit when she tries to move, but other then that she's ok. WHen I got to the vet, I had to force myself to go in. Once there, I lost it. i started balling my eyes out when they came to get her. I was a wreck today. I spent the day with my neighbor in hopes that I wouldnt focus on what angel was going through. It helped a little but I still stared at the clock. When I picked her up, I balled my eyes out once again. I felt so guilty for putting her through this. I didn't want this done....AT ALL. Im so sad. I keep thinking that i've just taken something from her.....and I have. Her uterus and ovaries :( Im gonna go make myself a STRONG drink. Thanks again for all your support. Someone in heaven was obviously listening. One question though.....is it normal for her legs to shake whenever she takes a breath (while lying down)???? |
I am glad Angel is doing okay. I know I just went through the same thing yesterday. Jewels had the shakes all night last night but is better today. I am glad to have it over and done with. I am sure you are too. |
I havent been online much this weekend. I have been focussing on Angel non stop. She keeps trying to jump around. If I take my eyes off of her for one second, she jumps off of my bed or the couch. I dont want her hurting herself. Im letting her interact with her puppies and Prince (even though the vet said not to) since they are all being gentle. Other then them occasionally trying to lick her wound, it's going well. I was so worried that there would be a problem but everything seems to be going well. She's not in any kind of pain at all....THANK GOD! She's eating and drinking like normal and even wants treats. Well, im gonn ago lay down for a bit. I have bronchitis and haven't slept much do to bronchitis. Thanks again to all of you for your prayers. :) |

Angel seems to think she's superwoman now. I can't get her to sit still. She jumps off of everything (couch, my bed, etc) and runs around like a lunatic. Im afraid she will get hurt. She keeps trying to wrestle with her puppies. The vet said she needs to be still for 14 days...and it's only been 3. How on earth am I gonna be able to keep her still that long? It's already impossible! Im also curious as to why it has to be 14 days. I thought laser surgery made for a quicker recovery time. 2 weeks seems like a long time. |
I am very glad that Angel is home now . Jade , Choulita and Mitsou are very happy that she is ok . |
