| LittleMansMomma | 07-11-2008 04:28 PM | Thanks everyone! I really wasn't expecting to get another baby this soon after getting Tawny, but cirumstances does arise and I just couldn't let him go and not know if he will ever find his forever home.
The real test came today after our vet visit, as to how he, Little Man, and Tawny got along. They got along great. He and Little Man play like they were raised together (I'm so happy for that!). Now Tawny is another story, he's very careful with her. She will go over and play with him, he'll just lay down and let her play until he gets enough then he will get up and walk away. He pretty much does the same thing Little Man did when we got her.
His vet visit went well. Since, he is 3 yrs old and we didn't know if he had his shots (the previous owners didn't know if he did or not, but they knew they didn't take him to vet.) so the vet went ahead and gave him a booster shot and his rabie shot. He did test postive for hookworms, and whip worms. I got worming medicine for him and was told to keep Little Man and Tawny away from him when he goes potty. He did test negative for heartworms. I've got to call the vet tomorrow morning to schedule his surgery to have him neutered, because I forgot to do that today. So, we got a pretty good health update. |
