LOL, This thread makes me laugh. As some of you may know I am new to the wonderful world of Yorkies. (6weeks) Taylor actually covered ME up with imaginary dirt 2 nights ago. Poor thing worked so hard, going all around me in my bed covering me up. LOL I LOVE YORKIES. LOLOL :D:aimeeyork:D |
My Izzy "buries" stuff too:laugh: It's so cute! |
Romeo hides his most beloved treats too! It's funny to watch him do it and he is so determined to hide it:) I thought it was in dog's nature to do it. My sister had a precious rottweiler Zorro (R.I.P) and he would go hide his treats in the dirt outside. We always thought he was hiding it from Sophie, a younger rottweiler he didn't much care for!! But I guess even if you only have one dog, they get the urge to dig and hide their treats!! We should post pictures;) |
Kodak did it when he was a puppy and Mari never did it at all, but it was so cute and funny. It's like they are trying to bury something with no dirt. LOL |
Peanut "hides" his poop with imaginary dirt, but with his toys and treats, he uses his blankets and his bedding to actually conceal them. Or, he has a favorite hiding spot behind a pillow on the couch. LOL...anytime I'm missing something he can fit in his lil mouth, I go looking there. 8 times out of ten, it's behind "Peanut's Pillow." Funny lil guy... |
Bam Bam does the same thing he even gets a little annoyed when things don't go so well, he lets out a little wheeping sound. He also plays with his treats he will place them in his mouth and puts his head back forcing the treat out of his mouth it looks like hes playing catch by hisself... Too funny!!! |

My daughter's Yorkie use to hide her treats from my 2 Mini Schnauzers when she comes over, if she doesn't eat them right away. She discovered that didn't help much and now she eats them when she gets them, David |
Rambeau does this with his chew chews when he is tired of chewing them. My little Lupie (Dachshund)used to do it too. I had to stop leaving food in her kennel during the day because I would come home and her nose was bloody from scooting the bowl under her blanket. |
Smokey does this with treats and bones. Chip just swallows them right up... then goes after Smokey's share :D |
willis does this too, he hides all his treats and bones, but now we have Darcy she finds the treats and eats them, he's not impressed. |
