| My husband and I were both a mess today at the vet We took Lola for her first vet appointment, we have had her for two weeks but wanted to let her adjust to her new environment before visiting the vet. Our poor baby needed to get her ears cleaned because she had a beginning of an infection in one ear...omg, I could not believe the nasty things that came out of her ears. The doc prescribed an ear cleaning solution and also gave her two vaccinations. The most horrible part was when they did the blood work... it broke my heart to see her cry and shake so much. What am I going to do when she goes for her spaying and baby teeth extractions? OMG, now I truly understand how much I love her. |

| Well, one thing is for sure, we all DO understand what you are going through. I most certainly feel guilty when my little furbabies have to be scared and hurt because of my choice. But the we have to make the choice because we LOVE them. Just like our skin children, because we love them we make unpopular choices. Glad the ear thing is being taken care of.

| What you're experiencing is normal! It just proves how much you love your little one! I remember crying as I left Archie behind at the vet to be neutered. Every time he is sick, it just makes me a nervous wreck. But it feel soooo good when I see he is feeling better. You're doing a great job with your little one, I'm sure!

| Rigger wails when we leave him! He tries to climb over their shoulder and just wails!! It is heart breaking. The groomer will not let us anywhere near when she is trying to groom him. The one time we stayed to watch he yelped every time she moved him..she said he never acts like that. It was obvious she was not hurting him..LOl!! He tends to be a bit of a drama king and momma's boy...gets it from his dad .

| I feel your pain! When I took Essie for her shots. she handled the first great, but the second one, she was fine untill she looked up at me. I swear my heart shattered to pieces. I took her to a pet store and let her pick out some chew toys and a few treats and bought her a new dress. I swear she just cryed so I would feel bad and get her new stuff!!!! lol She is our world (other than our skinbabies). My husband says I take better care of the dog and spoil her more than I do our kids!!!! lol

| Glad your Lola is doing well and is healthy. The bad news is it never gets any easier on us. I hate when I have to take mine to the vet. I too, totally understand how you feel.
