| Wow! AKC paperwork for Gizmo! Gizmo was neutered this past Sept. and we sent the breeder the proof since we are supposed to be able to register him with AKC (limited). I never heard back and my emails and phone calls went unanswered and unreturned. Since I'm not a breeder, and I didn't intend to show him, I just blew it off. No big deal. He's healthy and we love him. Well, today I get a call from the breeder out of the blue! She says she just mailed the paperwork to us. Wow! First, he's 16 months old. Can we still get him registered? Isn't it too late? And..I have to think of his AKC name. His name is Gizmo, but we sometimes call him Gizzy, Gizmeister, Gizzimoto and other things. Any suggestions?

That's so funny. She must be a tad behind. I don't think it's too late though. I think it is a little less expensive at 12 months and under but you can still register him. I'm terrible with names though.

| I think the timing is a little interesting too. Could just be coincidence, but someone just recently posted about wanting breeder recommendations for the Waco area. Well, whatever the reason, I'm happy about it.

| I just sent my paperwork in for Sadie yesterday! I had to come up with a fancy name for her too. I came up with Sadielicious Lil Independence. Take a few days to go through different ideas for Gizmo. Think of his personality and even things he likes/dislikes, places you've taken him, etc. You'll come up with something. Its fun to decide a name! |

| I'm so glad she sent the papers to register, I think I would always wonder if mine were pure bred. Now you need a fancy name for papers, it doesn't have to sound anything like his 'call name'

How much did it cost by the way or did your breeder handle that? Did they say how much more it is after 12 months?

| Hey, it says 12 months AFTER the litter is registered. Could she have just gotten around to registering the litter??
