| New to YorkieTalk I am Regina.from North Carolina, and new to your site, but all I have seen so far is great. I got my Yorkie/Pomeranian mix for Christmas this past year. And well with being a mix I hope that I can stay with you guys.Believe me she is more yorkie than anything else. From behavior to health problems, the vet says she is a yorkie thru and thru. Her name is Bella and she is almost 7 months old.I wish that I could have owned one before now,but she just happen to fall in place at the right time of my life.My husband and girls brought her home at the age of 6 weeks. And then around 8 weeks old she stopped breathing,I gave her mouth to mouth and CPR on her.Got her back around and off to the vet we went. They done some test and blood work and told me that all signs of a portal shun was present. So then off to another specialtist to have the ultra sound done and prepare for surgery.I prayed that God would not take her from me as I could not afford this type of surgery,And yes my prayers were answered, they came out and told me that she did not have one and that she needed to be watched for low blood sugar.Well now you know about me and Bella some.Hope to talk wwith you all often |
