| My poor baby!!!! Well, I just got the worse scare that I have had so far with Lucky. I took him outside to play and all the sudden he started yelping like crazy and limping on his left front leg, I had him on a 16ft leash so I was watching him and I didnt know what in the world had happened. Well, turned out he got bee stung. Poor baby is still limping but he is better than he was. I gave him benadryl. I cant take much more of that. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I love my baby so much. It will be scary for me to take him back outside now but he loves to go out so much. Stupid bees!!!!

| Oh my goodness! What an awful thing for the little one. Bees are sometimes down after the little flowers that bloom in the 'grass' or sometimes they are into getting water on the grass if there are any droplets on it. Wasps do this too. My granddaughter stepped on one at a park once when she was really small. Good thing you had the benadryl on had. Poor little thing. |

| Lucky is fine this morning. Walking good on all 4's. lol. I just can't believe that he got stung and that it hurt him so much. It was aweful. Thanks for all the comments and we all better keep the benadryl around. I gave him 1cc and he is close to 4 pounds now but it really helped.

| Poor baby!!! Bee stings hurt us big humans. Bet really hurts our little darlings. Glad Lucky is okay this morning. My two boys are so curious it's just a matter of time before they get stung, probably on their noses.

| I'm glad he is better. Do you know how sometimes bees start dying and they are only partially alive in the grass? Well, one time Muffin and I were walking around the yard and one got the bottom of her foot a little bit. It wasn't a full sting because it was just a temporary ouchie. Kacee got two wasp stings on the inside of her ear in the summer of 2006. Poor little thing. Her ear was red as can be. Then, a long, long time ago I had a chihuahua that got stung by a wasp on the side of her face and her little face was so swollen she didn't even look like a chihuahua anymore. She really got lots of care for that. It scared everyone.

Well, my vet had told me before that I could give Lucky benadryl because he was itching. He said I could give 1cc. His leg started swelling from the sting so thats why I gave it to him. Plus I had read on here about the same thing happening to another baby. She said she took him to the vet and they gave him benadryl and told her to watch him for about an hour to make sure he didnt swell more. There is tons of good info on here.
