I don't blame you for running, with other animals you NEVER know, better to be safe than sorry! Glad you guys are o.k!! I could only imagine the scene though, LOL. That's something I could see happening to myself! :p

some might recall my post from a few months back. In summary I was out walking Bindi on this stretch of grass one house over from mine when a big van pulled up next to me very slowly and stopped. well I've got another one for ya.

So yesterday I was taking Bindi for her nightly walk in the community park. It's basically an island park (one road goes in and then they have two bridges) in the middle of the neighborhood. So there is a lot of water and ducks (can you tell where I am going with this?). So there we are just trotting along when a very pretty duck starts waddling over. Bindi of course is beside herself and want to talk to "Daisy." Usually the ducks will stop a few feet away but this one kinda just kept coming. I started trying to pull Bindi back so we could start walking and ignore the duck but the duck kept coming. Next thing I know I have Bindi in my arms and Im RUNNING and SCREAMING and this freakin duck is chasing us! It chased us for half of the trail! Meanwhile, Half of my neighbors are just watching me. No one came to help. lol They probably thought I was nutso. I tried to make as dignified exit as I could.. :rolleyes: It was so awkward to see people after the "incident" this morning. I hope they forget soon...

When I was a little girl, I had a pet bantam rooster. He used to chase everybody away and try to flog them!:D It was funny to me, but no one else was amused.:D

LOL, that makes for a funny visual but I'm sure you weren't laughing at the time!

I had to rescue Tetley from a very aggressive squirrel just last week! We were just walking along and the dang squirrel jumped out of a tree and charged right up to Tetley! :eek: I scooped him up and motored outta there!

OMG that is so funny! Don't worry, you aren't alone- I was chased by a goose at the zoo once so I feel you pain- very embarrassing!:p I'm glas y'all are okay.

LOL it is funny when you read it but I know just how you feel.
The other night Bud and I went for our 5:30 walk and we are loaded
with deer where I live. Anyhow were walking down the street when this
female deer comes out of the woods and starts coming straight for us.
I freek and cross the road and right behind me is the deer! Now I'm starting
to run and Bud is holding me back because he's trying to sit so the damn
deer can come up to us. Some lady in a car stops and asks me if I need
help and I say Yes because this deer wants to come home with me.
She drove me home! LOL
