I had a lady tell me today that Bruno doesn't look like a yorkie. That he looked like a mutt. she said there was no way he was all yorkie.

so tell me, from his pic in my avatar what do u think?

Of course he looks like a Yorkie. Unfortunately you can't keep people from being Idiots! Some people must stay awake at nights to think of ways to be hurtful and thoughtless. Sorry you had to run into one of those.

Your baby is a very handsome little Yorkie man.

She insisted that all yorkies have what she called "pony tails" on top of their heads. I couldnt help but laugh while trying to explain that he is a boy and I dont put "pony tails" in male dogs hair. i guess people can just be very stupid!!

Know what I would have said to that lady? I would have told her he isn't a mutt, but SHE is!:D He is a very cute little yorkie. Don't let people do you that way. Jealousy comes in all forms.:)

Some people are so rude....when we first got Peanut, one of Jaimes friends dad said that he looked like he was mixed......it hurt Jaimes feelings so bad......people just dont know when to NOT say things......I think your baby looks all Yorkie.......

He's a super doll! My Charlie doesn't have a top knot either -- he's all boy! Your little looks ALL Yorkie to me! He's super sweet!!!

I just can't understand why people have to spout out stupid opinions like that. Do you really care what a stranger thinks of your dog? I'd guess not! What matters is that you love him to bits (which I'm SURE you do). People always have condescending things to say about these dogs, but they just haven't been blessed with the companionship of such a wonderful dog.

He he! I had to laugh at that one because I actually have people argue with me that my 7yr old (human) boy is actually a GIRL because he has long hair(past his rear), an earing, and is so pretty. Umm...I changed his diapers so I'm pretty sure he is a guy. My son just thinks people are stupid and laughs about it, thankfully. He has had people argue with him about his own gender as well.

People should try to be less secure in their own (questionable) intelligence and think before they open their mouths. Perhaps that lady should be told that yorkies, just like people, can get their hair cut, and that hair does NOT make someone something they are not. All yorkies are different and your baby definitely looks all yorkie to me.

Wow you have a really pretty son!

Sometimes little children will ask me if I'm a boy or a girl because I have very short hair. I just laugh at people's ignorance, that is so awesome that your son recognizes that at such a young age.

Why would someone SAY that to you ? Are people just intentionally out to make someone feel bad ? Don't let people like that get you down....

if someone ever says that to you again - you can just tell them - he MAY
look like a mutt to you..... but to me he's the most beautiful dog in the world.

I don't think it matters what that lady said about your baby! Plus, it depends on the hair cut that your baby has. Like my baby Izzy has the Puppy look but long enough on top to put bows in her hair. People will say things but it doesn't matter. As long as you love your baby thats all that MATTERS!!!:aimeeyork

So ignorant… you should of told her that she must not be a human because no human could ever come to the conclusion that a dog can't have his hair cut!

I've been lucky, no one has said anything like that to me about my dogs...but I am ready. I'll just look at them questionally and say..."you have green crap on your teeth" and walk away....LOLOL.

You need to get that boy an agent if he doesn't already have one. He could def. model!

He looks like a yorkie if I ever saw one! And who was this chick anyways? Twenty bucks says she doesn't even know what a Yorkie looks like. Maybe she is misguided and thinks that all dogs are supposed to look exactly like they do on the dog shows, all dolled up and fluffy.
