I think Preslee thinks she is royalty or something. Seriously, I think she is convinced that she is royalty. She will sit in the recliner and bark at Recon and Memphis. Then if I am laying on the couch with a pillow she barks at me until I give up the pillow. Then she will lay smack dab in the middle of the pillow. When I straighten the living room I usually stand the throw pillows up against the back of the couch since it looks nicer. She will pull them til they are laying down and then go to sleep in the middle of it. She wont lay ANYWHERE without laying on a pillow. So I have come to the conclusion that she thinks she is royalty. |
She definitely sounds like a princess to me!! I was wondering how you got all your dogs. They're all different breeds and SO adorable - if you don't mind sharing. :D |
Preslee I got from a breeder friend of Redneckwomans. Memphis I rescued. I will try to find a link to the story about him cause it is long. And Recon I got from a friend of mine. His springer female was expecting pups and I went to see the pups when they were only a few days old and fell head over heals in love with my little freak boy. He still to this day has the same adorable face that he did way back then. LOL |

Aww, Preslee is so cute! Taht's so funny that she barks at you until SHE gets your pillow! I'm sitting here trying to picture her all distressed on the couch - I mean COME ON who sits on the plain old couch? That's just wrong! LOL. Sully does this too, but not the barking part. He has to be on a pillow or blanket even if he's sitting on the couch - or on the bed! If I roll over at night or get up to go pee, I can expect Sully to have taken over my pillow! I told my husband we need to order Sully a red velvet pillow with gold tassles and carry him around everywhere b/c that's how he acts!!! |
If I can find some red velvet like material I will make him one. I want to make Preslee a pink velvet one with some pretty tassles on it. LOL I love your avatar. I still have to get some pics together for a new avatar. |
LMAO! Funny thing you mentioned the pillow, Lida insists on having one too, as a matter of fact last night she decided that not any pillow will do now - she has to sleep on my pillow even when I'm using it! Now, I have bed pillows everywhere because she will bark and bark for the pillow on the bed! And heaven help any other dog that gets on her pillows, she won't shut up until they move - even if she doesn't want to lay down. Bossy little things aren't they, don't you just love it! |
I can not believe how bossy Preslee is. Must be just something with these girls. LOL. Preslee even bosses Recon around. He likes to lay on her pillow that I have in front of the couch. SO she will bark and growl at him to move so she can get on the couch. If he doesn't move she will just jump on him. LOL |

Princess Preslee needs to meet Princess Hallie. She has to have a pillow at all times, the fluffier the better and she will dig and dig until it is just perfect. And she's got the barking thing down too ;) Gotta love girly girls..... |

i had the same problem with paris, so i finally got my mom to make her, her own pillow. she sleeps on this thing all day but it's not good enough for night time she has to sleep with me at night. silly paris. |

(Although they probably wouldn't believe us anyway!) It's not enough to sleep on the nice cushy couch- nope Preslee needs better! I think you may have a diva on your hands! |

That bed is really cute. I am actually going to make Preslee another bed in hopes that she might use it instead of harrassing me to use my pillow. I do think she would feel a pee under her pillow. She is a nit picky little thing. I feel bad for Recon cause sometimes she will lay on him and before she lays down she has to dig at him. ALmost like she is fluffing him up before she lays down. She is for sure a charactor. Never a dull moment with her around. :) :) |
