I guess it reall depends on the dog. My spent the weekend with my baby after her spay so during the day I just kept distracting her every time she tried to lick her stickes. She had regular extrernal stiches. At night I would put her onsie on (0-3 month... she was about 5 lbs) She also uses wee wee pads but didnt get up to pee at night much.. Plus I knew I would hear it if she did try to get off the bed.. I was a nervous wreck! Good luck, Im sure everything will go great and just keep an eye on her first the first 12 - 24 hours... youll figure out how shes reacting. |
I would get preemie for your baby. I bought 0-3 months for Bella and they were huge! I had to go back to the store and get the preemie size. I bought the 5 pack. |
Neither of my girls had a onesie. They were given an E Collar at discharge but neither of them needed to wear it. They left their incision alone. |
where did all of you get your dogs spayed at? chloes getting spayed at banfield (the petsmart hospital) and im assuming its the same surgical procedure for all of the banfields |
