| Harness & Leash My puppy is 8 weeks old. At what age should you start using a harness & leash? I would like to start to use both so she is use to it but I don't want to do it so soon. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | At 10 weeks, Ramsey was the youngest of all my puppies...and since she goes to work with me...she had to wear a harness and leash.

| As soon as I bring them home. I will never forget the first time I put a harness and leash on Kacee. She went in ten directions at the same time. Of course, now she is the one who insists on going for a walk.

| Sadie just went on her first official leash walk a couple of days ago. I bought one of those leashes that retract automatically as it was recommended by my breeder. Its nice because I can lock it at a certain length for her and she cant go very far. She pulled away from the leash at first but is doing sooo much better now that she's been on two walks now with it. I praise her constantly for staying with me and the ability to lock and unlock the length of the leash is wonderful! |
