I am laughing my butt off reading this thread. That was the greatest comeback answer that I have heard in a long time. I too will remember the genius of your response and use it if Piper becomes over 7 lbs. and some idiot asks me such a stupid question. Thanks for the giggles :eyetearss Val ~ As usual you just add to the fun of my day...I LOVE Sully's teapot avatar. You are the coolest!! |

LOL troubletb I cant belive you but that add up that is too funny let us know what kind of responses you get, cant wait to hear what the people have to say about our new line to the Yorkshire Terriers. ;) |
:yelrotflm I love that new avatar of Sully! |
Please don't flame me, but I'm puzzled about the ...well, almost virulent anger against people who are simply curious about our dogs. It's not possible for any one person to know everything about every subject (although, I admit, there are folks who pretend to - but that's a different topic *smile*), so why expect folks who don't know Yorkies, but who are attracted to your gorgeous little friend, to know that the popularly used term "teacup" is, in fact, not a legitimate description? If someone asks me anything at all about my dog, or any of my pets, I'm delighted to talk with them. If they have misconceptions, I'm pleased to take the opportunity to clear them up. I actually have a smaller Yorkie (she just tips the scales at 5 pounds) so I do hear the term "teacup" frequently, but I've never been offended by it. I don't know - I apologize if I'm upsetting anyone, but unless someone actually says something derogatory about my furbabies, I'm happy to talk with them all day long. I don't expect them to know as much as me, and it doesn't bother me when they don't. Especially when they're being friendly and giving me a chance to brag about my wonderful furkids! :D |
"I tried jogging but couldn't keep the ice in my glass" <~~~~ I love that! Too funny. Don't mean to make light of the situation, just wanted to comment on your signature :D |
