california rescue I would like to start a sourthern states area rescue. But I dont if there is a need. I look all the time and it dosent seem that alot of dogs need help. I live in san diego and very few come this way. Im going to keep researching this let me know if you think I can help. |
Hey I live in San Diego too...Count me in |
If that is what you really want to do.. I'd say go for it! A few of us got together and started a Yorkie Rescue here in Oklahoma. We didn't have any dogs for weeks and right now we have 5.. possibly 3 more coming this weekend/early next week! I think Yorkies are such a popular breed that there will always be some to rescue. It's tough and it takes a lot of time and dedication but let me tell you.. it is SO rewarding. :) Good luck! Check out our website at Oklahoma Yorkie Rescue |
I think that is a great idea. I could help. :) I wanted to do the same but am unsure of the process. |
I'm in the Orange County/ Inland Empire area and I would love to start something like this also, but I have no idea where to begin. Maybe the members that started the OK rescue group could point us in the right direction! ;) |
Ive emailed some rescues for help getting started. Its great to know there are some ca people that can help. |
