| california rescue I would like to start a sourthern states area rescue. But I dont if there is a need. I look all the time and it dosent seem that alot of dogs need help. I live in san diego and very few come this way. Im going to keep researching this let me know if you think I can help.

| If that is what you really want to do.. I'd say go for it! A few of us got together and started a Yorkie Rescue here in Oklahoma. We didn't have any dogs for weeks and right now we have 5.. possibly 3 more coming this weekend/early next week! I think Yorkies are such a popular breed that there will always be some to rescue. It's tough and it takes a lot of time and dedication but let me tell you.. it is SO rewarding. Good luck! Check out our website at Oklahoma Yorkie Rescue

| I'm in the Orange County/ Inland Empire area and I would love to start something like this also, but I have no idea where to begin. Maybe the members that started the OK rescue group could point us in the right direction!

| Im excited too. Ive wanted to do this for a long time. I contacted the san diego shelter to get a protocal from them. Im still waiting to hear back the lady in charge of rescue and adoptions wasnt in so I left a message. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
