Baxter had to be shaved down last week due to matting after surgery. His 'new' hair feels so silky compared to his old 'puppy' hair. He's only 6 months old. Do y'all think it is going to be silky now? It was silky on his head before but somewhat cottony on the rest of his body. And now with all they black cut off, he is really grayish/blue.

sorry to burst your bubble.. but the same happened when Layla was shaved and she came back in still cottony. but we love the curls!

Bailey had to be shaved too, when she was a pup - due to mats - afer SEVERAL WEEKS of growth she came back all silky - and tons easier to manage. Yep, the black was gone along with her puppy looks.
