A yorkie or pup in general was spared from her usual impulsive pet buys:

THE Puppy Store on Melrose Avenue in LA deserves an ASPCA award. Over the weekend, spies said, Paris Hilton was on her way to a photo shoot and "wanted a puppy in the picture with her so it would look cuter." Hilton waltzed in and tried to buy a Yorkie but was rebuffed by an employee who said it was clearly "an impulse buy." Hilton, who has a menagerie of neglected animals, went "ballistic," we're told. "She started screaming, 'I love my puppies! I want my baby!'" - but to no avail. The store had no comment.

Yep...can you imagine. Jeeze how many dogs does she own now...where pray tell are they all?

I LOVE it!!! That's great!! I always wonder about the pups that stars have...you see them in a few pics with the dogs and then you never see the dogs again. I always wonder where the pups went.

Well.....HATS OFF to them for NOT selling Paris a puppy.......but an ASPCA award???

Maybe if they would quit selling puppies altogether!

The same thing with Britney Spears, you see her with a chihuahua and even driving holding a yorkie...Someone should do a piece on their animals and we could see where and what they are doing while their 'mommies' are out on the town !!!

That's AWESOME!! But like someone else said, an award? Don't think so... They wouldn't be in that situation at all if they weren't selling puppys in the first place!! Their dogs all end up being taken care of by assistants. I'm in the entertainment industry and I see them bring their dogs to work all the time. And they are ALWAYS being cared for by their personal assistants....

I'm glad they turned her down. That she only wanted one for a photo shoot is horrible, why didn't she use one of her own gadzillion pets?

What a spoiled brat!! No wonder she's the way she is. I'm so THANKFUL the store refused and cared more about the dog than the money. Hurray for them!

That's EXACTLY right!! And like I said in another post on the topic, what's the point of having a pet then?? I may be nuts, but I get total joy from caring for my Yorkies!!
