thanks for posting that! |
Thanks, I'm checking it out right now!! |
Very interesting! Im glad the word it getting out. |
Thanks that was very interesting. |
I read through that last night. Its very interesting. My dad has a USDA license because he is a dairy farmer and raises beef cattle. So I am thinking I might have him open an account on that auction site so I can see what it is all about. I am really curious. I am not looking to buy a dog, just want to know what it is all about. |

When I see The Hunte Corp. I get a sick feeling - they are the LARGEST Mill in the country. Wiz of CLAWS buys puppies - JACKS up the price like a Pet Store - and resells those poor babies. The shame is other BROKERS do this also...she's not the only one. Which is why we see so many sick puppies. If they slap her down - maybe the next guy won't be so quick to purchase a Mill Puppy. These people make me sick. Please know - when we see these internet sites with MULTIPLE breeds...and usually the puppies look scared to death ...chances are they are buying their puppies from mills ...just like Pet Stores and this nasty Wizard of Claws woman. Great LINK - Thank you :) ...it did my heart good to see this ... people like her have a 'special' place waiting for them - she can be with her buddies of The Hunte Corp. and all the rest of the evil Animal Abusers in the world. |
Auction Site.. I signed up on the auction site just to see what it was like.. and it's basically ebay for puppies, but they have like every breed and its just a bunch of breeders selling them. The worst part of all is on their feedback people talking about how wonderful these breeders are! It's sad too they sell puppies for like 350.00 and some even have buy it now prices. And I was reading how some arrived to the pet shops with respitory and ear infections yet the seller still got 4/5 stars from the buyer. |

Anyone.. I think.. I just signed up and like I didn't put my real adress or anything .. it did ask what kind of account "sore, breeder,or humane group" I just put humane group.. and it asked for either a USDA number or like a licenes Number and I entered in my Actual Drivers Licenes Number and it worked! .. it does ask for a credit card but I don't think it charges anything.. because I used an old account of mine thats shut and it didnt reject it. |
I am on the site right now and I can not believe some of the pups on there. Amazes me. |
It's very sad...The poor sick and scared pups and their constantly pregnant moms..... |
Is there a web site for this auction? I would like to check it out. |

Unfortunately I purchased Mac from a broker before I found YT. My husband found this "broker" and she lived locally. She has any kind of dog listed on her web site (which after my incident has been changed numerous times). When I was looking for a yorkie she told me she new many breeders that she dealt with all the time and if there was something specific I was looking for she would find it. Well needless to say I feel in love with Mac. This broker (who when things starting going wrong with Mac decided she was only and advertiser because in NJ we have puppy lemon laws which hold brokers responsible) said she would pick him up and bring him to me and that she knows the breeder and they are reputable. I had Mac for 3 weeks during which time he never seemed quite right. After being rushed to the emergency vet numerous times we were finally sent to a neurologist after poor Mac good not even be touched without crying in pain. It turned out that he had Atlanto Axial Malformation. (Thank God he is just fine now). I contacted the broker becuase of the health guarantee and the NJ law. I had the right to keep the dog and be reimbured for 2x my purchase price in vet bills which were actually 5 times that. Well it is when all this started that she became an advertiser. She then gave me the breeders name who lived in MO and raises various breeds. She stated that she never dealt with this broker ever before that the dog was also advertised on auction she also informed me that she sold Mac's sister to a pet store. She told me NJ law doesn't apply in MO and I bought the dog from the broker. The broker/advertiser decided that she would refund the money she made on the transaction. She actually marked the dog up over $800.00 Yes I was a fool at the time. This person actually advertises to stop puppy mills on her site. And now sells designer dogs. whatever they are. I would advise everyone to stay away from this site also. I think we should tell are stories so we can spread the word on any places we have had problems with |
Thank you for posting the site again. It came up on the "Solid White Yorkies" thread a couple of days ago. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...6&page=2&pp=15 It was first posted here by Reconsmomma and I began to research it and I have put a call in to the attorney who filed the class action lawsuit in 2003 to try to find out the status of that case as well as, why this company is still in business and what we might be able to do to help shut them down. It was also posted that Gilda Anderson was arrested for "abuse" and I am trying to find the public record of this so I can advise you of the facts of that arrest so you will be knowledgeable when you wanr people to stay away from them. The husband, James Anderson, is a convicted felon but his conviction I believe was drug related. He was released from prison in 2001. I have an inside number to Gilda Anderson and I will call her and talk to her directly as well. I will let you know what I discover. |
I also thought it was important to make a correction. Again, it is important to be accurate to be credible in our fight and we should state the truth at all times. Please correct me if I am wrong. It was posted that the Hunte Corportation is "the LARGEST mill in the country." In fact, the Hunte Corportation is not a mill at all since they do not breed puppies. What they are is the largest BROKER in the country. They buy dogs from puppymills and sell them to pet stores. |

Those poor puppies, and all the people that don't know any better, that just want a baby, and end up with all the health problems/ and heartache. This IS a crime! :thumbdown |
I dont know why people have to be that way...I went to that website.put ina fake name...a fake license number EVERYTHING and it let me thru....Its disgusting how people just sell puppies to anybody on a buy it now and bid basis...makes me soooooo MAD!!!! |
Glad to hear that they are no longer apart of the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Hopefully, they get shut down all together! People like this make me physically sick, just by reading how they try to give the illusion that they run a legitimate and worthy business. What a shameful company you are Wizard of Claws! |
<bump> again. I want EVERY member to read this. |
thanks for posting! |
news I just saw a news blurp for 11PM NEWS...They are running a story about a place selling unhealthy pups, they showed a pen of Yorkie pups..I will watch and see if it is WOC. |
Kim, thanks for using your expertise and contacts to help us get to the bottom of why these people are still selling puppies. The skills you have will be very valuable in our fight. Please keep us posted. |

Please keep me updated on the news channel investigation as I would love to find out what they do about all this. You do realize they can open again if they get shut down under another name....I once had a dealing with a certain breeder here in Ohio and to make a long story short she did me wrong and I reported her to AKC only to find out she was listed before and shut down, the opened up under her husbands name then shut down and believe it or not she then went under her sisters name and got shut down. Now that's not all as now she is using her name again because she was only shut down from AKC for a few years....So this can keep going and going and going under different names if they want.. How sad... |
