There really isn't too much now. We are used to working 16 hours so driving an issue. We are having to figure which vehicle to for saving on gas. So if you could tell us how much gas is so we can have an idea. Right now it'll be looking like over $200 which isn't a huge issue but boy is it getting expensive! So the options are the truck which gets less miliage or the car which requires premium. I have a GT. If we had known what has would be like now we never would have bought! Lol but I do love my car. But anyhoo let me know what the prices are along that route!

O and areas not to stop with the babies that aren't the safest!

so are you gonig to come all the way or do you need us to bring Kyser to you along the way?? We are willing to help if you will just let us know. That's a long drive for 2 days!!
Gas around me is about $4/gal now. :eek:
Remember, i can bring him to Beaumont if you need to turn around and head back to Hammonds for the night.
If you are coming all the way to Houston, we have an extra room.

You ladies are the best!! I have so much respect for those of you who were willing to go out of your way to help get this furbaby to his new YT home.:D

(You really should get some phone numbers and such for along the way just in case you have any issues.)

TootiesMom, can you pick up Kyzer from Lake Charles and take him back to Baton Rouge and let Brittiany/DH pick up there in BR??

That would shorten their trip by a lot and they could turn around and go back to Hammonds where they have friends and spend the night there.
Brittany, you and your DH and 3 babies are still welcome to stay at our house for the night if you are coming the entire way.
Please call me and let me know if you still need our help today. I am heading out to the doc appointment but will be back noonish. Will you be in LA by that time???

Yes if my help is still need I still can do the Beaumont to Lake Charles drive....If the train is still going on I need to know what day and time will I have to meet you......Like I need to know NOW....LOL so I can make arrangements :)

Actually you know how I said I wouldn't be able to do it today well I can....I took off today ;) UGHH I'm so freakin tired of that job :rolleyes: well thats another story but anway I am free to travel and leave anytime from now until 4pm (leaving at the latest) :D If not it will have to be after 5 on Wed-Friday

Hey ladies sorry I've been running errands all morning:rolleyes: Hubby doesnt get off till 1 so we will be leaving around 3. We will be going all the way. We decided it would be better for Kyzer that way. So I've been taking care of everything this morning while Hubby is at work so we dont have to worry about anything when we leave (grocery shopping at 7 in the morning have you ever heard of such a thing!) But I really appreciate all of your help and offers it is really very touching. Thank you so much yorkie talk!
