| this ever happen to yours? ok so yesterday i tried brushing abbys teeth. i bought it at petsmart. i cant think of the name right now but its a red n white tube n its chicken flavored i think. anyway i tried it and WOAHHHHHH !!!! aboout 5 min later abby was acting nuts. she kept diggin her face on the pillows n turning n making some weird noise with her mouth as if we were to have itchin powder put on us n we make that like ahh ahhh ahh ahhh noise (sorry that was the best explanation i cud think of ) she even took her hind leg n scratched the heck outa her "jaw" area. it freaked me out big time but after about 3-5 minutes she was back to normal. well im scared to try it again.... i do have petzlife but i've seen a vid where a yorkie runs to the blanket n rubs his/her face on it after the put the petzlife on it. wat do u think it was??? |

| It hasn't happened to Maggie - I brush her teeth every few days with the toothpaste from Petco. It's mint flavored with a picture of a Yorkie on it. She LOVES it and that's probably the only reason it's easy to brush her teeth Maybe the toothbrush wasn't soft enough and bothered her gums?? I don't know - I wish they could talk and tell us what's going on

| I have no idea but if it was the first time using this toothpaste I would not use it again. Something might be wrong with it or your pup had a bad reaction from it! Does your pup eat chicken normally? I have only used the mint flavored four paws brand. The thought of chicken or liver flavored toothpaste is a turn off for me. Yuk! LOL Try putting a pit on your tongue and see if it burns you? I hope not but I would not use it again. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have been wiping brushing and then putting Petzlife on my girls teeth for a couple of months and last night when I put the Petzlife on Roxie she went crazy, wiping her face on the bathroom rug and just freaking out. I have used it before on her so I don't know why she went crazy. I use the poultry flavor toothpaste and they seem ok with that.
