Bad news I bought two cats from this guy. One died the next day, the other died a week later. He played the drama queen the entire time but never offered to refund my money and I'm having to take him to court over the issue. This guy is bad news. If you want to buy a pet from him, ask to see where It is raised. He won't let you see it. Puppy farm/cattery. |
Ed Leray I purchased a puppy from Ed Leray 4 years ago. I paid 3500 for my dog, who was supposed to be under 3 pounds. Payton weighs 9 pounds. :) He also one front leg that is longer and thicker than the other which causes him to almost "gallop" when he walks. Although it is endearing now, it wasnt the case in the begining, when I contacted ED to talk to him about these things, I never heard from him again. On a side note though, my dog has never had any health problems, has never been sick and his "bum" leg doesnt effect him in the slightest. His personality is priceless and I happen to think he one of the best looking yorkies I have ever seen. ;) I love my baby and I wouldnt trade him for anything, but I don't recommened using Ed. |
My little one is from Ed. I adopted her in 2006, and was a clueless child. I, like many young women, was completely ignorant when it came to breeders. As for the health of my little one, she had a seizure when she was a few months old but has been healthy ever since. She's gorgeous and weighs 4lbs. I hope to have her well into her teens, and I trust I will as I've seen no signs of illness since her incident as a puppy.. She's always given a fabulous bill of health upon the completion of her check ups. I feel incredibly fortunate but simultaneously ashamed of my ignorance at the time. Unfortunately the allure of a tiny 'designer' dog is compelling to young people, and most fail to grasp the importance of looking into fostering and rescue options first.. As for finding the best breeder, obviously if you're going to go that route you should avoid kennels like the plague, but after years of volunteering and fund raising I've completely changed my angle on the subject of pets. Adopt a dog that's about to be put to sleep instead of contributing to the ugliness that is breedism, for the love of God. |
