Wizard of Claws is a horrid name and she really does seem to have "claws!" - she looks very false - imagine those poor little pups who see that face all the time. How is she allowed to continue? The very thought makes me cry.

LOL...I have to say is THIS REALLY important Kim ? - I do realize you've been only a short time on yorkie/dog forums...but there are MANY people that I've seen in the last 2 years who dealt personally with these people -

IF it were YOU that purchased a yorkie from them - and you had your heart broken you would feel VERY differently...I go with what I've seen and READ...and when the evidence is right there - WHY keep going on about it ?

The word doesn't get out on GOOD Breeders unless there's good reason. Jeff Dane & WOC are both in the BAD catagory...You can try to find something in there to defend but WHY BOTHER ?

There are too many reasons that these things are said - Articles in newspapers - Complaints with the BBB - Lawsuits ets....and your AVERAGE yorkie/dog lover crying on a forum because they got ripped off or their dog is ill....

Why bother looking for that ONE thing just for the sake of debate ? In her case - the facts are all there. I can vouch for the posts I've seen that you won't see on the net - there are MANY More people who had BAD experiences out there than you'll ever see doing 'research". Is there a reason you want to 'debate' over this ?

ok...let's get past that you think there must be more to their story than what I said....Let's look at the picture originally posted. Do you REALLY think that is a WHITE yorkie ? I mean - really - a person who isn't too familar with yorkies might buy it but to me...THAT is not a yorkie and only posted as such to bring as much money as they can make off that poor baby. Yes it's cute - but it's NOT a yorkie.

I was able to find out that there appear to be 17 lawsuits filed since 2003 but I haven't been able to determine the outcome of any of them.

I also discovered a phone number that may allow me to reach Gilda Anderson directly to ask her about her arrest record and get her side of the story.

I don'y really think that anything she says to me will lead me to a different conclusion because there are too many complaints and I found out when they ship their puppies they don't always put them on direct flights! This alone is enough for me.

Just to clear the record here though, the picture of the puppy who started this thread is not from WOC. I think it is from the guy txshopper73 mentioned. It just "LOOKS LIKE" some of the pups you see on WOC's website which is how the conversation started about them.

It sounds as though James Anderson's criminal record has something to do with drugs...but that is just from what someone said on a forum, so I am still looking for a reliable source.

whoa...slow down !! No one 'lumped' you with her - When I read that comment - I didn't takeit as directed at you - She said "there will always be people etc" and she's right - there always will be. When there is a controversal site/broker - there's bound to be someone out there who will have the opposite opinion. It's just a fact on these sites.

Before you leave please tell me where you got the info on her arrest(s) for "abuse" so I can post the facts surrounding her criminal record.

I hope you are right, but you posted that I was defending them at 6:51 and then her post was right after it at 6:56 so it just looked to me like she was directly referring to me as being of "like character". I hope you are right and I am over reacting.

ok...I need not to be posting anymore about this - but will answer your question. I think it's important to YOU to get more info - great - but I hardly remember where I read it but can say it was a local newspaper that printed the article of her arrest and raid of a TERRIBLE pet store she was involved with - Suffice to say her ethics are still terrible and that is enough for me.

I hate just SEEING the Name Wizard Of Claws still on the net. She's getting way too much attention here - but if this thread helps people STAY CLEAR of her - GREAT !

Kim, I'm not being critical but maybe Villette has a reason she not posting her source. When people ask where others get their info it could be that they are not at liberty to say where it came from. She may have been asked keep her source hush. I can see how some could become defensive when asked. I understand where your coming from & wanting to know but sometimes people can not divulge that info.

Ana~ This hasn't gotten "out of hand" imo. No one here is looking for controversy. I just happen to be a stickler or the facts because they are important and it is part of my training. I like to feel confident in my knowledge if I am taking up a cause and am going to be warning people about this evil business. I want to KNOW what I am talking about rather than subjecting myself to liability for slander or whatever else. I also don't want to get "caught" stating something that is not factually correct and losing my credibility.

The WOC needs to be shut down! Just saying the are "bad" and "evil" doesn't work for most people. Most people want the true story and I want to be able to tell it with confidence. It was posted on here that Gilda Anderson was arrested for abuse but I have not been able to find anything about that in my research. Because it was written here it will be repeated so I just thought knowing the facts surrounding the arrest to be able to answer any questions people will ask, like what (kind of abuse and was she convicted?) is important.
