| New Member and Yorkie owner My wife and I live in South Carolina and I am a new member. We are getting our first yorkie this Sunday afternoon. She is a rescue and her name is Chloe. She belonged to someone who died and the family did not want to fool with her and took her to a Humane Society shelter. She has had a rought life for the past few months. We are so happy to make her a member of our family. There is just my wife and I and we have a minature Schnauzer who is 9 months old. Just wanted to give you a little background and say hello. Any advice you give to us will be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Jimmy |

| Congratulations and Good Luck with your new family member. One of my friends adopted a yorkie from and elderly couple who had health issue and could not take care of her. She is very loving and affectionate. She bonded with her new family instantly and became fast friends with the other yorkie in the family. A few bumps as she adjusted to a new house and surroundings, but that was only for a few weeks. She was off of her food for about a week while adjusting but bounced back. It has been three years now and she is quite the little character. |
