| This is a great site Hello Everyone, I am new to this site. I joined a couple of days ago and very happy that I did. I have read a couple of threads that have helped me with my first yorkie, her name is BREE and she's 10 months. I would like to take pictures of her and post them, but she will not keep still longer than 5 seconds, she is extremely hyper. Any suggestions? You all have such beautiful yorkies.

Try placing her on a chair or something that she's not going to jump off of. The best luck I've had, I placed them on a hammock in the backyard. They didn't budge an inch. Squeak a toy or hold a treat in front of her. Then snap the picture. It takes some practice, but it's something we all battle. They are squirmy little guys.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Welcome Hello and Welcome to YT. I also have not been a member for a long time, and when I discovered this site, I just felt at home with so many Yorkie Lovers. Just makes you feel good seeing all the pictures and Love from everyone. You just got to love a Yorkie. If you keep trying with your Baby to take pictures, I'm sure she will get used to it. Treats help. Food always helps. Just like us. lol...My Yorkie is 6 years old now. She loves to take pictures. I sell Dog Apparel, so she is so used to modeling for me. I just love my Pebbles. So good luck with your Little Baby. You are going to have so many years of Love and Happiness with Her.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Hi welcome to YorkiTalk, have you tried walking or playing fetch with her first? They say a tired dog is a happy dog. That first year they have so much energy.
