don't beat yourself up....it does happen. Heck, just ask Alaskayorkie about FORGETTING Eddie outside. (sorry Mike, I couldn't resist). I'm just glad your story had a happy ending! |
Dont feel bad it has hapened to me before when chachi was younger. I bet ts happened to everyone once |
I have been so lucky that Tricksie has not pulled a stunt, she is so FAST!!! So happy you got her back safely. I started when she got old enough to recognize the door bell, I would pick her up before I opened the door, now she knows not to go out unless I hold her. |
I have puppy gates at all my doors - people can step over them if they need too - in very bad doors I have a taller gate. This helps people think of the dogs when they come and go. Karen and DAISY |
:aimeeyork I am so glad that your neighbor was looking out for your family that day! Accidents happen quickly, AND please stopped blaming yourself! This had a happy ending, thankfully. Baby gates are one of the best ways to ensure your yorkies will be safe. I have not had this happen, because I am on the second floor. Id Suzi ever tried to run out, she could go up and over the Balcony. BUT, When my son was a toddler, he got out in only a diaper , running down the sidewalk. YEp, my human baby did that. I never forgot the terror I felt. A neighbor found him, and luckily he was fine . I never ever got over that.:aimeeyork If suzi were to get out, I would rather die then to have her hurt , or killed. :aimeeyork Same with my son, he is now a teen. :aimeeyork |
