What would you guys guess this dog is mixed with? A local pet/feed shop sells dogs (supposedly from local breeders NOT puppymills, but I doubt that) and has these 2 listed as "Yorkie Crosses" but don't list what they're mixed with. Does anyone have a guess? If I had to guess I'd say Chihuahua

Now that you mention it, I definitely see that they might not have yorkie in them at all! So many of these puppies look similar when they're small, but that could be like a min-pin/daschund mix.

Now that would be crappy for them to by lying to potential buyers. They have the yorkie face, to me, but who knows?

Oh I agree, that would be really crappy of them! If you could prove it, I'd report them to the BBB!

But they may have yorkie in them, it's hard to tell with just a picture. But if they're advertising it as a yorkie mix, surely they would tell what the "mix" is unless the "mix" is a mix of several different breeds and yorkie is one of them and they're saying Yorkie mix to draw in business. You never know.

Is hard to say, they are kind of long. Maybe chihuahua or dashcund. But I wouldnt know, Im the worst person to ask. Im so bad idying people nationalities and dog breeds, lol. I agreed with Val, maybe one parent was yorkie and the other was a mix pup.

Looks to me like maybe a chihuahia with a little bit of yorkie or a rat terrier with yorkie. But you never know. I mean look at my Brownie she is a chiuahia mix, mom being full blood chihuahia since she belonged to my inlaws but dad we have no clue what he was but she sure turned out beautiful.. I will post a pict... she is 2 I just recently gave her a hair cut so there is a after and before but she is my love bug and so sweet.

None of the above mentioned babies have a nose remotely like the one on the left!!! :eek: Poor baby, maybe her body will grow to catch up with her nose! :rolleyes:

I agree with the shepard part, my other guess is a rat terrior. i dont see any yorkie in them at all
