| Beckham is home!! Question... Well, Becks is home...he is SO cute (see picture.) He is adjusting well...but I am getting a bit nervous. We picked him up about 11:30 our time...it is now 4pm, and he has not gone to the bathroom . It is pretty warm here...warmer than normal for this area. I have been offering him water, and he will drink a bit, but is not interested in a lot. He has not eaten either. I thought our breeder was going to give us some nutracal in his puppy packet, but it is not there. I do have some Karo, and just to ease my mind a bit about the not eating, I put a bit of the Karo on his tongue But should the not going potty be a concern? Our breeder is great! You would not believe the huge gift bag full of stuff she sent us home with. It had a bed, 4-5 toys, treats, yorkie calender, food dish (cute), picture frame, and more but I can't remember it all! How cool is that? . |

| Oh what a cutie, congratulations With a name like that he needs to be on the YorkieTalk Soccer Team!!!! When you say he hasn't gone potty do you mean pee or poo? I bet he's just a little nervous and adjusting. I'm sure someone here with a puppy can give you some good advice. |

| Bear was the same way. I got him about a week ago&it took him a few days to adjust. At first he was very mellow&quiet, but in a few days his true self emerged&now he's playful, eats well, goes to the bathroom regularly&lets us know when he wants something or is lonely! Just give your bby some time. He's in a new environment with new people&new smells&he needs to get used to it Congrats on your new bby. He's adorable! -Amy

| He is adorable!! Congrats on your new addition. What a fun little puppy package! My advice to you is : When I brought Abbey home I was nervous about EVERY. LITTLE. THING. I'm no expert but he may just may just be nervous. Give him some ti me to adjust and watch him, I'm sure he is fine. Try not to worry to much but with these little things it is hard not to. You get very protective. It's like having a child. Good luck!

I called the vet and they said if she hadnt pooped by the next day to bring her in... and the night she pooped!!! I was never soooooooo excited about a poop in my life!!! but now she is COMPLETLY cured of not pooping let me tell you! lol I think she just needed to get use to her home! just takes a little adjusting! if your baby hasnt pooped in a few days then I would call your vet but until then I wouldnt be too worried!!!

| Aww what a cute little punkin' ! I bet its just that he is nervous from being in a new place and away from mommy and siblings. He will adjust well I'm sure. Both of mine acted like that the first couple of days. Then they saw all the love and attention and safety we were able to provide them and have been on non-stop a roll ever since! Keep offering him food and water and keep taking him outside or to his paper whichever your doing. With our 2 I took them around to each room of the house they were allowed in and put them down so they could explore. I did this so they would not have the fear of getting lost. Worked wonders! Might want to grab yourself some nutracal to be on the safe side, though I only used karo for Kammie and it seemed to work fine. Just give him lots of luvin's and he will relax I'm sure! Best of luck! Keep posting pics of that little cutie pie! |

| BTW thats a wonderful gift basket you got from the breeder. Everything would have the smell he is used to on it, I bet that helps him feel better to. BTW has he gone yet? Koda didn't go for about 8 hours after we brought him home. and Kammie didn't go either P or P for 2 days. Then she decided she wasn't eating . So I ended up homecookinmg for her, for a month or so They will really tug on some heartstrings I tell ya! Those puppy eyes can get them soooooo much |

| Ok....he went! It took him 8 hours and bribing with ice cubes, but he went number 1 I was just able to get him to eat...the little stinker would not eat until I brought the food onto the couch and held it while he ate it from my lap! This could be the first step to him being totally rotten Thanks for all the great calming posts! Tammie and Becks Sig line coming soon |
