| BOTH my yorkies LOVE LOVE LOVE their cat. They play and chase and cween and share all the time. notice I said THEIR cat. I had the cat first and he was so good with them from the start. And they adore him even tho hes a big, fat, lazy slob! that looks like a cow...but we love him anyways.

YT 500 Club Member | We have an older 23 lb cat and our Sophie. They do okay. In the pecking order, Sophie is definitely the boss. They play occasionally, and Sophie "tells" us what Mr. Kitty is doing or if he is in trouble.

| Yoda and keiko (the cat) are always playing with each other but Faith just tolerates her she doesn't like the way she sneak attacks her. I hate to talk about this but... I have found that I must not let the dogs have accesses to the kitty litter they tend to eat it, and it was even worse when we used the wheat kind of litter. Oh also they love the cat food which is bad for them. We slowly introduced them to each other Keiko was a feral kitten that we rescued from or backyard.

| Yes, my 12 lb kitty is my 4.4 lb pup's bestest buddy. They love each other. Although, I often think my kitty wishes the puppy would just "chill out" a little more often. I have noticed that my kitty isn't as cuddily as he used to be before I got the puppy, he used to sit on me all the time and now not so much cuz the puppy tends to chase him off or wants to play to rough a lot of the time. Still, they are good friends and play very well together.

| my 2 yorkies joined 2 Siamese when they arrived at my house. Everybody gets along. My male Siamese passed 1 1/2 yrs ago, and my female is really needy now -- so sometimes the issue is who gets to share my lap with laptop

| wow! i wish my cats liked Kash. lol. Kash loves the two cats, but the cats only TOLERATE Kash... he chases them and tries to play, but one always runs away, and the other will sit there and play for a little while, but if Kash gets too annoying, she'll get a little aggressive (which scares me). i don't see them ever cuddling together in the future. of course, Kash IS still a puppy so he's full of energy. maybe when he's older, he'll calm down enough to cuddle up with the cats.

| *sighs* I have an indoor only Hymie. Though the cat will let the pup get close....she refuses to touch or even play with the pup. It is frustrating my pup to death. My outside cats have no problem with her at all. I think the cat inside was so used to being "queen' and is not loving the new family member taking space of hers. THe other day I cried cause my cat doesn't come around me much anymore so I have to go looking for her to spend time with her. Very sad. |

| Ha, our fat cat tolerates our Yorkie and that's about it. She'll occassionally take swipes at him with her claws. |

| My cats finally have started playing with Roxy my 7 month old pup. Norman, my 28, yes 28 year old big orange tabby just lays around and let's Roxy lick all over his face, zeena a grey rescue ,chases then allows Roxy to chase her throughout the yard, she' s really fat and Roxy gets furious when she climbs the tree or gets on top of the shed. Dexter , the rodent and bird killer/ eater, plays but I don't EVER leave Roxy alone with the cats I don't trust them! |
