| He has a BALD SPOT!! What in the world?!? I'm freaking out. Fred has a bald spot on him, and it's not from grooming. My boyfriend and I just noticed it today when he was getting a bath and we didn't notice it before. It's on the right side near his rear, above his right hind leg between his leg and tummy. It's a big patch! His skin looks a little red and irritated in the area. When I run my hand across it, I can feel stubbiness like his hair is breaking off or something. Oh no!! What could be wrong?? |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I'd take your baby to a vet. It sounds like ring worm which takes a lot of time and work to treat. let us know what happens.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Natalie - that SAME thing happened when Chanel was a baby - she had this PATCH that just showed up - I had her tested ...it was not ringworm and we never found out what it was - It went away and the hair grew back normally - it FREAKED me out - but if you do get him tested for Ringworm I have a feeling it won't be - it sounds like it's in the SAME place and it's bigger than a quarter right ? WEIRD - Whatever it was ...it didn't itch or anything - just one day - it was there..... Hope he's ok - I would tell your vet just to be on the safe side. |

| I made an appt with him for the vet on Saturday at 11! Mann, I've been pampering him all day long. Poor little guy. I'm paying more attention to it than he is. It's good to know that some of you guys have had the same experience (not that it's a good thing!) !! I was freaking out when I felt it. I hope it goes away. It's a lot bigger than a quarter. It's a big patch! |

| Oh I hope is not ringworm. My Gucci had it when we first got her and took us like 4 to 5 months to treat it. Gucci lost a lot of hair. She was on oral meds and she need it special baths and a pet dip that stink like rotten eggs. Please keep us posted. Good luck. Attached pic of Gucci with her ringworm |
