So I've been waiting weeks and weeks for this adorable monkey hoodie to get to me and I was SO excited to see that it was in my mailbox when I got home today.

So I put the cute lil' outfit on K'nute and now she doesn't want to play and walks around all sad and whimpering...she has other sweater outfits that she wears and doesn't mind at all...I can't figure out what the difference is...and she looks adorable too, I just wish she liked it

That's odd she'll wear other sweaters but not this one. I found if I put them in clothes and distract them right away with treats or a toy or playing they forget they have anything on. Do you have any pictures of her in the monkey sweater? It sounds cute!

I always give Lily a treat when i put something on her, did you wash it first?

It may take take her a little time to get used to it. Try it on her another day!

I tried to get her to play with her favorite toys as soon as i got it on her hoping that she would forget about it just like she did with her other outfits

Maybe if I just put her in it for like an hour a day she will get used to it and love it as much as I do. She graduates from puppy school tomorrow though and I really wanted her to show off her new threads, oh well...

Oh, that is too cute, I was going to suggest that perhaps it was too big, Joey acts this way if something is big, but it looks perfect. I definitely would wash it, she may be smelling someone else. You could also let her sleep in it; Joey got use to some of his clothes this way. Congratulations on graduating from puppy school!

I do definitely need to wash it, I was just so excited that it arrived I had to put it on her immediately

Thank you for the congratulations, I guess I should have said hopefully she will graduate, but I think we will do good

The first couple times I put clothes on Jake, he acted like he couldn't walk or move. He doesn't like clothes, and if I put them on him, he just takes them right back off, so I don't usually bother. Sometimes he sees me putting clothes on Jackson (who doesn't like being naked), and he gets excited and wants to wear a shirt. So, I'll put one on him, and he will leave it on. I have no idea why lol. He has a shirt on today because he acted like he wanted one on. He has two shirts that he doesn't mind wearing, but he won't keep any others on. Maybe it's the way it feels? I don't know lol

pebbles acted like that with anything with a hood on it... is this her first outfit with a hood? it could be that
