hope to be of some help In my yorkie grooming DVD, I usually advise people to refrain from clipping this hair, to let it grow out, and once it is long enough it will not poke into his eyes and aggrivate him. In your case, if you are comfortbale clipping it, then go ahead and keep it clipped. It will solve the problem immediatly. If you can be patient and let it grow uot, then do so, but you are right, it seems to take forever. Sue & Cricket :aimeeyork Quote:

Someone else suggested clear eyebrow gel but I've never used it. I did think though, why not clear mascara? It would probably hold the hairs back (it's gel like) and I would think be safe to use around their eyes. This eyebrow gel says it doubles as clear mascara and can be used on flyaway bangs. i wouldn't ....even if it's all natural the dog could still get a chemical burn in it's eye. |
Mine used to do that, all 3 of them but i have let that grow and it doesn't get in their eyes anymore, it's long enough to hold back and i dont have to keep clipping it |
i order Pet silk shampoos from PET EDGE .com, and if you order 60 dollars in supplies they do not charge extras.... not hard to spend the 60 dollars.... i love the shampoo so i assume the gel would be good too... but i keep it short hair... |
gonna give it a try myself!!! |
just use it i use biosilk on my dogs all the time i doubt a little pomade or wax would do any harm..... its not like its a chemical or anything its just a hair product :) good luck |
