| ![]() I have a 2 1/2 year old Morkie (1/2 Yorkie, 1/2 Maltese,) When he was a puppy he had the Yorkie coloring of black and tan. As he grew up, he changed to silver-gray and white. About a month ago I noticed the white is turning to sort of a buff color. Is this normal for an adult dog, or is it a sign of illness. He was at the vet a month ago for routine shots and blood work, and I wasn't told of any problems. I would appreciate any advice. -Angie |

| ![]() I am sure your Morkie is just fine. I have seen them a buff color. Keep in mind the Maltese is white so I would expect to get a light color. There are a few Morkie breeders on here and they might be able in give you some input on what color to expect. |

![]() My very first dog was a Morkie and I breed Morkies I'm sure your Morkie is fine. It takes almost 18 months or so for a Morkie to develop their true colors. Most of them become more beautiful as they get older.I would love to see some pics of him. I will share some pics of mine with you as adults. Just PM me | |
