I don't pay an office fee, just whatever I had done to the dogs/puppies. Yes, I can get out of there for $3 if I just have one puppy's dew claws removed. (I don't do any of my own vet work) Have I said before that I love my vets? They take time to listen to my crazy worries, are willing to research farther about something I ask them, are available 24 hours a day, seem to care about the animals and never rush me out of the office even though I usually have to go about closing time because of my job. |
My vets office visit fee is $18. They haven't charged me for an office visit. I've only had to pay for whatever services/meds that I need at the time. |
$58 at my vet and it went up 2 times this year already!! |
I guess compared to some of you Im doing alright. My new vet charged 38$ to walk in the door. But on the plus side they were VERY nice , imformative, and they have the "yorkie vet" there because yorkies are her special anmial. Its also only 2 blocks from my house. Ill pay extra for a vet that loves and cares for Yorkies.:) |
My vet charges $38 and treats his patients like they are his children, they even call and check up on Giz when he has been ill. We are very happy with him.:) |
My vet doesn't charge a fee for thevisit just for what is done. Very rarely do I get anywhere near 100 for a visit and usually if that happens cause I took in all three animals! |
My vet charges $48 for a basic office visit and $35 for a recheck. Rechecks used to be free. :( I read a few years ago that we could expect to see vet office visits and charges for services to go up to compensate for the loss of income since so many people aren't doing annual vaccinations anymore. Apparently that was about 25% of their income. I sure have seen it at my vet's. They have now even attached a fee to review xrays! I mean really, wouldn't that be expected to be part of the charge? I never get out of there for under $100 now and that is for the most basic visit. Oddly enough, I have found it cheaper to go to Lady's opthamologist. It is a beautiful facility for veterinary specialists and you would think it would be a lot more expensive. The basic visit is $65, but they charge much less for the same tests and prescriptions than my vet does. |
My Vet charge $35... But I know some Downtown Toronto that charge up to $80 and that is include nothing... just the visit!!! |
We are north of Atlanta and have a wonderful vet - he also gives law enforcement a GREAT discount. If anyone is in this area pm me and I will give you the information. There was not a charge on the receipt for "office visit" when we were there last week. |
My vet charges $40 for the office visit. |
$40 to walk though the door... $5 to look at them, $10 to touch them...etc ... LOL .. kidding! but it feels like it! i swear i have never been to a vet who itemizes EVERYTHING! on one bill, they listed surgical gloves for miss buffeys spay!!!  :thumbdown |
I don't really remember exactly what the vets office visit charge is around here. But I've always considered it very reasonable...even the specialist I took Winston to see wasn't bad. I'll have to look up the receipts for the exact amounts. |
About 40-45$ here in Southern Frederick Co. MD (D.C. metro area). |
