This is a great comparison between responsible and backyard breeders: Lawrence County Humane Society Abuse and Adoption Center The fact that she lets her puppies go before twelve weeks is a pretty sure sign she is a backyard breeder. The YTCA's Code of Conduct requires all breeders keep puppies until at least 12 weeks old. Violating any of the guidelines of the breed club is a huge red flag. |
