I've seen a couple males on YT in dresses and I have to say at first I was a little :scratchhe but hey, to each his own. I wouldn't put Rylie in dresses, but I don't mind putting him in vest made out of slightly girly prints, and he'll wear bows when his bangs grow out. I have Lacy to put dresses on. But you know what? They are DOGS! They do NOT know the difference...they don't know what color they are wearing or what style of outfit they are wearing. How in the world is it cruel to dress a dog a certain way? I mean, I think it's a little funny to put a boy in a dress (for more than a try-on or whatever) but it's in no way harmful to the dog... who cares? Why not worry about the real cruelty some dogs suffer. At least the boys in dresses are probably very loved and spoiled

That's kind of a joke on the original one. It's come up a bunch when people start threads to list the funniest thread or threads you remember. Someone will know just where it is and post it.

Remi thoroughly enjoys sashaying his little butt around in a dress, even in public(but only at Lowe's where I work:D). I have a whole boatload of gender challenged critters living in my home - one bird flirts with himself then makes whoopiewith himself in front of his mirror. He's clueless when my female flirts with him:rolleyes:. He's the one that talks to his claw. Go figure. Now, Roxy, my sweet little petunia, will hump any stuffed animal bigger than she is until I drag her off of it. Can you picture this adorable little sweet pea in the pic below in a frilly little dress? Yeah, me too:D. She's the mud-slingin', hole-diggin' puppy crack-lovin' diva that lives at my house.


I have a 20+ lb tom cat with the tiniest little squeak for a meow.

Little Man chooses what he wants to wear. I lay out all of his clothes out in my office/his room floor. I let him in and he will sniff each one and then he will snatch up the one he wants to wear for the day (I'll have to get it on video for ya'll, it's just too cute). Now granted he don't wear dresses and we don't own any dresses. But IF I did dress him up in a dresses and we did have dresses and he chose a dress to wear he would wear it. Hubby would throw a fit and I would definitely never hear the end of it, but it would have been Little Mans choice.

That's just like saying a female shouldn't dress like a male. Do you think thats "cruel" too?? I say to each their own! ;)

I have never done that to my studly boy :cool: and never would - it's just wrong LOL :p My Stedman would be sooo offended :cool: He thinks that he is Mr. MACHO man!! :cool: And not to mention, his daddy would NEVER have it lol :laugh:

LOL Same here with Jake!! He doesn't like clothes PERIOD!!! I tried (again, sigh) to put a night shirt on him the other night. He had it off in 7 seconds.....yes, I timed him!:rolleyes: And, he gave me this look, like "Mother!! What WERE you thinking???" So, I can only imagine if I put a DRESS on him!!! He would pack up his toys and leave!:eek:

Jackson, on the other hand, LOVES clothes. But, I would never put a dress on him!! He's too much of a "manly man"! Actually, he thinks he's a "bad arse"....but he's a big ole' baby!:D

Thank you to all. I was having a not so hot day and this thread cracked me up!!! I loved all the pictures and animations and everything! We try to put Max in t-shirts, but nothing girly!!! And I haven't decided what I will do with his hair when it is long enough....I didn't know top knots were for girls? But we will see!!! Ha Ha Thanks again for the laughs. Oh and maybe we should be in trouble too, since we do call him Maxi, isn't the a little fem? :D
