Pictures, Please! As you know, I have a new Silver, Gold, Yorkie. She is now 4 months and weighs 5#1oz. I opted for a bigger one after losing my little Snoodles at 3 yrs 4# due to two strokes and the vet said to get a biggaer one--less problems! But, anyone with a Silver Gold Yorkie, I would love to see pics of them to see what mine might look like when she is grown. It's hard when they still have the black color. I can see silver-grey coming through on the back. Her legs are gold and some gold on her muzzle and white on the top. I would simply love to see pics of your dogs! Thanks! Pat |

I think Hot Rod may silver and gold also. I'm not sure. His head is silver and legs are gold. His hair on his back seems to have silver coming thru. He is 8 mos and he seems to be a late bloomer. His ears are just starting to stand up. |

Wow. Shorty's a doll. I never see a picture of a Yorkie that it doesn't bring a smile to my face. Sometimes I wish I had a houseful. :yorkiesar |

Oh ! Thank you all so much for the pictures! I had no idea so many of you had the Gold and Silver. I had never heard of them before. I love them all! Hope mine gets to be so pretty! Hey Hot Rod's mom! If you tape them with scotch tape and leave for two days, take out, and if flop again repeat until they are up. I use the scotch tape because it comes out easy! Just fold the ears together --insides together and tape around them. Mine are mostly up, but then the tops will flop and I just tape around the tops for two days. Oh! And shave the top third of the ear. If the hair is left to grow, it becomes too heavy and the ears will flop. KyBlue! Your brothers' Yorkie is absolutely beautiful! I hope Misty looks like that! The parents were so dirty, that I couldn't tell what color she would be. It was just a person having one set of puppies, and he never knew about much. But pups were really healthy! Again I really loved the pics. of all your dogs! Pat |
2 Attachment(s) Here's my Bubba with silver/blue and gold |
2 Attachment(s) Here is my Logan.... when he got cut very short - and just his head!!!:D Now he has 2inches silver hair on is back.... very nice! |
It just keeps getting better and better! They are all so beautiful, arn't they? Yorkiesmile! Was waiting to see one in full coat also. I believe I like the coat on the second picture the best, don't you? I love them all, though. Wish I knew how to post pictures, but maybe when by the time she is in her finished coat I will learn! Ha! ANd maybe, just maybe she will be potty trained by then! Miracles do happen, right? Pat |
3 Attachment(s) Here's Ranger- he's got a gorgoues peachy color on his head and upper legs, and then it gets a little darker around his nose and lower legs. Here is a pic from 12 weeks and another at about 7 or 8 months... His daddy was really light silver and gold, I know it's not exactly breed standard, but I chose Ranger partly because he had light hair growing in! I read their coat keeps changing until approx. 2 yrs? Does anyone know if that's true? Where's pics of your baby????? |
He is gorgeous, I do really love the light coloring. If it does truely change for two years how are you ever to know??? Buddy is 7 months and I still have not filed his AKC papers because I am always in debate about what color he is really going to be in the end. |
