I want another Yorkie... I want another yorkie so bad. I just love Fergie so much. My husband doesn't want anymore dogs. I don't see what the big deal is, I take care of them, he doesn't. I wish he would change his mind. It's probably the whole fact of the cost of them. They are a bit costly. Just venting, ladies. Hope all of you have a wonderful day! Thanks for listening.;):aimeeyork |
We added another yorkie back in November and I couldn't be happier w/my decision!!!! Hope you can change your hubby's mind! |

My husband isn't a "dog" person, but he hangs out with them all the time now. Good luck!! |
That's how I got my first one. LOL |
I'm right there with you on this. I have to wait till we get the homestead built though. Come on autumn! |

I was mean and very very bad. Yoda just showed up one day, my husband didn't even know he was coming I came home one day with a new little furball and he said wow I guess we have two now. He did ask if he could go back until Yoda gave him that look and them kissed him. |

show my photo to your husband... 1 Attachment(s) maybe he will change his mind soon after having watched my new photo of my yorkies......very sweet.....aren't they? |
Just keep trying to talk your hubby into it. That's what I did, and I got my second boy. Now I'm working on a girl! lol |
Okay you just have to keep talking about it constantly. Look at puppy pics, show him breeders websites, wear him down sister.. My husband did not want a Yorkie either because of the high price tag. But I kept on and on and on like the energizer bunny and now I am getting a yorkie..a good one too. Good luck..hee hee. Isn't that the reason president Bush is sending us those checks for..To go out and spend ...get that Yorkie! |
Well girls.....my husband didn't really want the one that we have either but now he loves him. I keep telling him that we're going to get another one, a female this time, and he doesn't say anything. He likes to pretend that he doesn't want one, but he really doesn't care one way or the other. He is wonderful in that way. Just keep trying to talk him into it. You'll eventually get your own way:) We always do....right????? |

we already have 2 dogs ofcourse.. and i want a girlie girl yorkie too .. but he was asking if im insane.. lol he loves snickers to dead too so thats good ! :) |
My boyfriend wanted a "min pin" and I wanted a boy yorkie, I won... But we decided on a girl, that was my compromise.... Whenever I bring up another one he just shakes his head, but aside from Roxi having a play mate, I kinda really like her being an only child!! I am an only child too, and we don't have to share!!! Who knows, maybe one day we will decide to get another one... Good luck with convincing the husband, I say you just do it, we are the bosses at the end of the day anyway!!! |
My friend once wanted another dog and her husband said no, so she started to talk about having another baby and he gave in real fast LOL! I knew that I would want a few more Yorkies once I got Jeter home but my husband said that we would have to see how well we trained Jeter. Thankfully he was a breeze to potty train and it also helps that Jeter has become a bit of a Daddy's boy lately;) I am going to be getting my girl in the next few months... once I find her that is:) |

Mine was a brat about getting ny DOG. So, I just said you are not my mother and I will get one if I want one! So I went and got one, and the first day, he kept turning his head away from her and acting like a brat. The next day, he was picking her up and cuddling her. Now he says she is the best dog we have ever had! So, just do what you need to do. They don't OWN you! Ha! Pat |
my bf REFUSED to let me have a dog. He even used the whole "I'm putting my foot down" speech (what am I, a 5 yr old??). But I just kept on with the begging and pestering and he finally gave in. The whole thing was ridiculous since I told him from the get-go that I would take care of all the feeding and training and expenses, and I have. Of course the second I got her in the door he was in love with her. For him, she's "our" little girl when it's cuddle time, but when it's vet bill time she's "your" little girl. Men. I say just get the dog, and let him deal with it. He'll cool off eventually. :p |
this is me to a tee... and its my hubby to a tee too unfortunately:rolleyes: I just keep thinking ok if I get Gracie prego... then he sees how CUTE her babies are... he will let me keep one or two or three!!! he he he :D:p I read all of you guys saying to just get one and let him deal with it:eek: wow you girls have balls!!! I wish I could do that ... but I cant STAND it when ANYONE is mad at me let alone my hubby!!! oh well such is life... |
I can't believe other people have husbands or boyfriends like mine! I too pay all the vet bills, toys, etc. And he gets to love and play with her! GRRR! Men sometimes I wonder who they think they are! The bosses, but not any more for me.. I will just do what I want to do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, of course. But who was he to tell me I would have to wait at least a year after poor Snoodles died to get another dog. :thumbdown Made me so mad I got Misty that same day! :D Guess that's the Irish in me! Pat |
Gosh... they are so much more fun if you have two... I have 12.... I have to find home for my little Shula.. she's nine months old... She's tinny and would just be a pet.. she's pic on my little breeder.net website... Good luck with your hubby...:D |
