Prayers Needed For Yorkiesmiles & Bubba!!!
 

Please pray for Yorkiesmiles and Bubba!

I'm not sure of all the details, but I just talked to Yorkiesmiles and Bubba got out of her gate. She's not sure when, and he's not responding to her calls for him. She lives near a busy street, so it's possible that someone has picked him up. I'm hoping and praying that they will bring him to a vet or to a rescue so that he can be home soon. I believe he is microchipped.

Please please send up your YT prayers for Bubba's safe return home!

OMG, since our last scare with Juanito and the mouse trap, I am soooo glad my dogs are microchipped... when he disappeared, he was not wearing his tags... only thing I thought was thank God he is microchipped!!!

Please, microchip your babies!! Is worth the risk!!

wanted you all to know I had him back in my arms!! So here's a new post with the details!

I had opened the gate to go out to my car. Apparently, when I came back thru the gate didn't latch - I've been having problems with it, - big wooden privacy fence with a latch that latches towards the driveway, not the backyard. I've been having problems, since we had so much ice & snow this winter, I think somehow the gate has gotten out of line.

I thought the gate was latched. Roxy started barking later & wanted in, I let her in & thought Bubba was still outside. Sometimes, she doesn't want to be out when he's out there, because he gets in the way of her squirrel chasing :rolleyes: Roxy had been in the house in the living room on the sofa barking out the window - if I only knew dog speak - I think she knew what happened!

I was actually on YT, when I heard what I thought was the gate blowing, and jumped up, the gate was wide open - I realized, he could have been gone for up to an hour.

I started yelling for him. I live on a fairly busy street that is a big thru street for a lot of people. I am also, close to a very busy cross street. I first ran towards the cross street. There are some shops on the corner, I almost went in, but didn't. There was one guy out back of one of the shops, but he said he hadn't seen a dog. I then ran the other direction, screaming BUBBA - I decided to get in my car & put the top down and drive around calling for him & asking all the people outside on this beautiful day.

Drove several blocks in one direction & then went around the block & went up to the shops near my house, as I knew one guy had a little dog he brought to work with him, and thought he might know something. I walked in, the guy was waiting on a customer, I said have you seen a little dog?

He smiled at me & said do you have a $100? I thought he had him, he said no he's up the street here, he started to point me in the direction, - as we're walking a gal working in the corner shop comes out & says it is about the dog? He said yes - so they both knew!! He was so nice, he ends up walking me all the way back up my street & takes me right to Bubba (remember he has a customer in his store!)

Apparently, a guy who lives across the street & 3 doors down from my house found Bubba! Bubba was locked in a kennel sitting in this guy's front yard under a low shady tree - the guy was not home by this point. He'd left Bubba water. So Bubba had to hear me calling for him, but never barked in response to my calls!

Bubba is chipped, but no collar. Had thought about doing the breakaway cat collar, but hadn't done it. Will now!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sick about it, I'm elated he's back. I'm praising God!

I think Roxy saw a lot of what happened. She could probably even see from the window, the guy putting Bubba in the kennel!!

Also, Roxy snapped at Bubba several times after we came back inside - she was telling him off!!! ;) All Bubba had for me were tons of kisses! Jesh, and I was suppose to be at work all of this time!!!!!!!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I am sooo relieved he is safe and sound!!! It happened to you almost as it was for me... look...
