| I've noticed it is not unusual to have multiple yorkies. We have a 1 1/2 yr. old and 5 mo. old. Is it too soon to get another? Or is now the right time so they grow together? I got the second one the day my mom was cremated, 1/29/08. My father just passed away on 4/10/08, and I want another in his memory. Any advice? |

| In my opinion, you can never have enough. I'm a real yorkie lover. But I suppose it depends on you personally. If you have the time and are willing to put in the effort that comes along with caring for 3 dogs (and potty training a new baby) then go for it!! If it brings you joy then do it. And I wish you good luck with everything!!

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have 3 yorkies and a pom. The puppy is almost 7 months and she plays a lot with my 2 year old, but I think if she had another puppy to play with she would love it. If you can afford 3 I say go for it. I don't find it much more work at all.

| I hope to some day have a whole household full of these wonderful pupcakes. However at the moment I can onl.y afford the one that I have. I think it would be unfair of me to try and get another and not be able to take care of them and spoil them for lack of funds. But trust me as soon as my money tree starts growing I am gonna adopt me a new baby. |

| I brought Bella in when my girls were 7 months old ... I bought Peyton when Bella was 4 1/2 months old.. I always waited until they were 110% using the puppy pads and brought another one in... I'd say go for it... We haven't had any problems and all my kiddos love each other..

| I would first like to say that I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your parents. If you think you can handle three yorkies financially then I say go for it!

| Thank you all for your replies. I think I just may do it. But we need to buy a king-size bed because we're all a bit smashed right now -- or shall I say my husband and I are smashed because our babies spread out like the little princesses they are (just love them). My 2nd daughter is leaving sunny California for beautiful Madison, Wisconsin for college -- go Badgers -- in August, so I need another to spoil. |

| Thank you for your thoughts. It is very difficult, but those little faces help bring a smile. You have a boy and girl. Do you now have a preference? I have two girls. I just prefer girls, but I was thinking if I should give a boy a shot. OMG, I was just thinking, I have two daughters and one son -- maybe I should consider a little boy. |

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I have Krissy and Teddy who are 1 day apart in age but I got Krissy at 10 weeks and Teddy at 14 weeks and they came from different states. It is never to soon to get another one and you can never have too many!!

![]() ![]() My heart aches for you. Many years ago, when my own Father died, my grief counselor actually told me that a puppy was by far the best therapy for me (he knew I loved dogs). So I adopted a little girl Yorkie, and named her in his honor, a name that was meaningful to him and I (Jeenee....long story).Only you know if you can handle three babies. I can see from your posts here, that you certainly have enough love in your heart. Lauren
