I think I'm gonna try giving her food to her on her own little plate and see if that works! |
Bella was barking at the terribly scary branches outside the window today. She's such a good lil protector! |
I would try a new bowl. Be sure it is not a bowl made of ceramic as many of them are lead based (especially if made in China!!) and could hurt your dogs health. Plastic bowls are too "light weight" and can skid and scare your dog...plus plastic sometimes causes a skin reaction with the black pigment on the nose and discolors the nose on many dogs...so I think you should buy a quality 18/10 stainless steel bowl made for dogs. Something low and wide so it does not scare her. I hope this helps. Sue & Cricket :aimeeyork |
Sophie will carry a few pieces of food at a time from her dish in the kitchen to the carpet in the dining room and eats it off the floor. She will do this over and over till it is gone. My brother in-law's dog does the same thing but she is a Blue Healer. Also, Sophie will only eat if we are in the room. If we go to the den to watch TV, she will come to the door and bark until we bring her food into the room where we are sitting. Then she will finish it.:D |
My terrier mix will stand in front of her bowl around 9 PM and start to bark. She barks until I go into the kitchen and look at her, then she starts eating. Who knows what goes through their little fur covered heads. My Yorkie never has a problem eating. He will eat anything that doesn't move. What a piggie. |
Teddi is scared to eat but I know it's because her charms on her collar hit the glass bowl and it scares her but she grabs a few pieces and runs away and eats them and then goes back and does it all over again. It's kind of funny. |
These stories are hysterical!! Yorkies are soooo funny. :yelrotflm :yelrotflm Coco is a stress eater. When anyone gets into trouble (herself included) or she can't have a toy she wants, she will run over and take a big mouthful of kibble and eat it really fast. I always say "That's my little stress eater." |
