Cool! I was looking through the family album, and this guy's yorkie females are not only prolific, they also appear to be giving birth to pug babies, and boxer babies, and poodle babies, and maltese babies, and even pomeranian babies! Well gee whiz...if that's possible, then maybe my 2 lb Buggie can give me that Great Dane puppy I've always wanted! Wouldn't it be more honorable to just say, "Hello, I am a puppy broker. I'm in this for money. Frankly, I don't see any value in these animals, but what the heck, there's a sucker born every minute, and people pay big bucks for my livestock." I don't understand why these brokers feel compelled to pretend to be something they aren't. If you have 30-100 puppies of various breeds that you DID NOT breed yourself available every year you are NOT a reputable hobby breeder, nor a reputable professional breeder; you are a puppy broker...period...own it, or Karma will kick your butt. Now shame on you, Ben, for forcing me to get all negatory on your buttocks! I was a 100% PP before you came along! |
The other thread that they were talking about earlier the owner of staryorkies posted a response stating basically that if anyone has any questions to ask them not make stupid assumptions. I dont think that anyone is making assumptions. Who really would raffle off a puppy? I mean really? I cry when my puppies would go away even knowing that they are going to a great home. I just dont think it is right. I think it is a horrible scam. |

I was just at star yorkie kennel! Let me start by telling you all that I am a new member of this site. I found this forum while researching problems that yorkies are prone to since I am a new yorkie mom. I had to join in order to right a wrong. I was reading and found some disturbing comments about star yorkies kennel. I was there about two weeks ago. In fact Ben was the only breeder that was willing to help me find a new companion. Ben listened to my story and learned that I am a 37 year old woman living on disability and fighting kidney cancer. As one could imagine I was very depressed. Ben invited me to Encino to get my Beautiful Gigi. While I was there I not only met Gigi's parents but also the new litter awaiting adoption. They have converted what looks like a granny's cottage in the back of their house into a beautiful nursurey. They did not know when I was coming and yet Ben, Gina, their son and a staff person where all there. The kennel/cottage was clean and the dogs were obviously pampered and loved. I saw how they interacted with their dogs and how much love was given to them. And just to set the record straight... Ben and Gina gave me the puppy (Gigi) after several telephone conversations and a face to face with not only me but my husband and daughter too. I was caught up in one of those scams to pay only for the air fare and Star Yorkie Kennel was the only breeder that listened to the human side of Yorkie ownership. My undying gratitude goes out to Ben and Gina for having given a reason to get out of bed and keep living my life to its fullest everyday. |
[QUOTE=gigis_mom;1927541]Let me start by telling you all that I am a new member of this site. I found this forum while researching problems that yorkies are prone to since I am a new yorkie mom. I had to join in order to right a wrong. I was reading and found some disturbing comments about star yorkies kennel. Gigi's Mom~~~ I am subscribed and had harsh opinions on the other forum you posted on....so I came here to respond to you.....First of all, if you were TRULY here to research and learn from YT, then welcome. However, I find it very interesting that the ONLY 2 posts you had were to tell how great Ben and Gina are. (Gina~Gigi???...hmmmm...similar) Anyway, there are a few things I hope you will learn here. #1 as we told Ben in his other forum that its funny that the only people who back him are newbies with only one or two posts...and funny as it is...that actually makes Ben look even worse!! (Dont forget that we all also know the trick that the same people can and DO sign on here with several different screen names trying to act like someone else and say good things about themselveles and lemme tell ya...thats old!!) and #2 the word teacup is EXTREMELY frowned upon around here. "Teacups" are not recognized as breed standard because they are unhealthy and it is plain cruel to breed small mothers for even smaller pups. I dont think you are in the right place if you are looking to change anyone's opinion of that. HOWEVER Gigi~~ If you are legit, then I truly hope to see more posts from you on say, maybe the health and diet threads etc....because now that you are a "teacup" owner..I hope you recognize that you have a VERY fragile precious baby that needs EXTREME care and caution. I would rather hope you use these forums to promote your knowledge of care for these small babies instead of promoting STAR......com~~~because, to put it simply, if you havent already caught on from the other thread you posted on too....we simply will never buy that Ben and Gina are nothing but a PUPPYMILL. Thanks, and best of luck with your precious pup. |
Thank you for the support Tonya. Quote:
We need some more good people like you. P.S here is a link for a website who has instructions for litterbox training. How To Litter Box Train Your Dog |
How does one become a "Senior Yorkie Talker" with only 15 posts? Seriously? How? I do love YT, but it makes me cringe to think that just by donating a little cash, a broker is granted "senior" status...kinda makes my skin crawl. |
Regardless of anything else that's going on, I think StarYorkies should know that there's no such thing as a "teacup" yorkie, and that the fact that they're even mentioning that will send up red flags for anyone who's educated about breeding. |

how can you sleep at night? bringing puppies here from korea is just sad... i would like to visit your kennel.. how many different breeds do you have? if you get these dogs from your korean family, how do we know you dont get them from other puppy mills in other countries too..? there was a customer who got her puppy from you and his ears were black with ear mites and he had ringworm.. this indicates that you are NOT taking care of these poor animals.. i certainly hope you have cleaned up your act.. if you are in the business of breeding and brokering puppies, then i hope you love your dogs.. i guess we will not know the truth, unless you want to give your address publicly so an unbiased witness can tell us you are not a puppy mill where dogs live in cages for their entire life. there is a special place reserved for people who would do this.. it is a very HOT place.. |
