Maxi didnt catch anything yet whew I hope he doesnt :) He shakes his toys by the throat tho with a vicious growl so I guess he has the instinct in him. I wanted to get a bunny as a pet because I think they are very cute but after seeing what he does to the toys hmm I dont think so. |
Here I was just last weekend trying to talk hubby into letting me get a lil bunny!.......then again andy doesnt even play with his toys......yet stormy is a mean lil girl to the other animals( she thinks she is the boss in the house) |
Mine have never hurt any other animals but I have 5 little bantie chickens and the yorkies sit at the French door and I swear that they are licking their lips when they see the hens in the yard!! I always make sure the yorkies are inside when I let the chickens out!! My chihuahuas on the other hand are actually scared of the chickens!! One of my chickens chest butted my 3 lb. chi and she froze and didn't know what to do!! |
I'd read about Yorkie's being ratters which is why I can never let him upstairs in our house. Dd has a hamster. He nearly lost his life with excitement when he once snuck upstairs when the hamster was in his ball. He also goes beserk when I bring the cage down to clean it. He growls and barks to try and sniff it. I've no doubt that he'd kill him in a flash if he got the chance. I have to say that I like this side of Yorkies as it shows a talent. Albeit a blood-thirsty one. :) |
