Oh wow.. that is pretty yucky ah.. I would oh so hate to see that too.. your too funny though..:D |
 I completly understand! Yuck Yuck Yuck!:sickie: A.J brought me a dead baby bunny the other day...I wouldn't even touch him until the BF gave him a bath! |
Just last month Toby found a little nest of two mice babies and brought one in the house. He usually brings in rocks (we have a whole collection of his little rocks in a dish) but this time I heard squeaking sounds coming from under the dining room table. Before I could get to see what was squeaking, Toby ate it. While I was contemplating this, he went outside and found the other "baby" which I happened to see as he ate that one too. I just couldn't believe he did that and looked pretty smug about it too. Now every time he goes outside he always checks the place where the "babies" were. I had heard Yorkies were originally bred as "mousers" but I didn't need to see it in action. |
Oh yikes! I can just picture the look on your face! I hope that Maddie and Libby never catch anything like that. They are always trying, but so far, so good! |

I can sympathize with you on this .... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=122017 I think for us ... it is time to get a cat !!!! |

Please be very careful with mice. If the dogs catch one, there's always the possibility that it was sick and had been poisoned, which is very dangerous if the dogs eat it. |
When Sami was young in the summer we'd be out on the patio and we have landscape lighting. There would be little baby toads under the lights trying to catch bugs, well on more than one occasion she'd catch one. ICK! Foamy mouth so in the house to wash out her mouth. LOL! I can relate.:animal-pa |
When mine were allowed in the yard my little 4 pounder was quite the hunter. She killed baby rabbits and got a squirrel once but he got the better of her and she came back with her face all torn up and blood everywhere. Mine don't go into the yard anymoe and Feather doesn't go outside at all now except for walk and trips in the car |
LOL how funny! At my mom's house, the cats and the dogs work together. The cat will bring in the most ungodly wretches through the dog door, let it loose ... ALIVE and let the dogs chase it. EWW! LOL One time, we found a rat in our kitchen (double ew!) and it scared the CRAP out of me. Thinking that Yorkies love rats, I put my girl, Glory on the counter for her to catch it but she was scared of it too! LOL -- I finally screamed for my dad and he came and caught it! Dear ol' dad! :D Saved my life yet another time :D LOL |
I'm not sure I would have been able to the mouse away from them! EWWWWWW! |
OMG!! I always worry about 'em getting a mouse or rat that has been in poison! I hope Banjo is not a good Ratter!!! |
Ack! I hope if something like that happens to me that my husband is around. I don't know if I could do it! |

Oh my, I would of been sickened too:eek: It's hard to belive that our cute little Yorkies were originally breed for that sort of stuff. I sure hope Jeter never tries out his ratting skills when I am around to see it! |

EEEEEWWWWWWWWWW Between this thread and the one referenced, I am thoroughly grossed out! I hate mice. It's always up to me to take care of the problem when we have one. Penny used to go nuts in our condo which would help me know where to set the traps. Thankfully she never caught one. ICK!!! |
I hate seeing those cute little babies kill something! You want to think that they could NEVER possibly hurt something! My baby Dex (5lbs) one time killed a frog! I showed the frog to him and when it jumped he caught it in his mouth and killed it! I was HORRIFIED that my ADORABLE TINY baby could kill another living animal! |
LOL... waking up this morniing im feeling a lil better abou tthe horror show that went on here last nite between my 2 dogs i stayed uplate thou cause they more i thought about it the more i had to bath them i even took one of my sons old tooth brushes shhhh dont tell him and scrubed there teeth which is not a bad idea to continue to do lowla has always gotton dental treats but im affraid to give them too Memphis but back to my nasty furbutts i too was a worried they might have gotton a hold of a poisioned rat that another reason i stayed up late they have not seemed to have gotton one thou i feel sorru for you all that has had other horrific experinces it took me 3 hrs to get the courage up to clean the back yard lol where i had a mask on and rub good lotion on my nose and had rubber gloves on and sprayed chemical on it lol i wanted to be safe |
