I bought my online, e-bay sells it. Tack stores that sell horse supplies sell it, but unless your yorkie is a cotton coat it's not a necessity. Occasionally, when Joey wears clothes he gets tangles under his arms and in the chest area, I wouldn't call them mats, but it works really well to get the tangles out without hurting him. People whose dogs have cotton coats swear by it because matting can be an extreme problem. You may not even need it, and if I use it, I use it before his bath not after, because he will look too greasy. So it just depends on the yorkies coat. |
