| The 2 pound puppy under her looks way smaller than her. It is a scam. Besides I bet anyone of us had her, and she weighed 5 oz , We would not, in no way under no situation, get rid of her. right????

Both my girls are small ladies. Lulu at a year and two month when she passed was 3lbs and an ounce or two and was something like 3ozs at birth. Zoey who is now 2 lbs on the money at 6 months was 2.5 ozs at birth. Her story on that baby's weight is a crock. You have breeders on here that have been breeding for 20 plus years and none of them probably have seen a pup that small. Maybe if the pup was very premature but doubtful that it would have lived.

| Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I would be afraid to entrust someone that small to anyone. You know the tinies crash. How could a person have one that small and knowingly sell it to someone. It would have to be a home where the person was an experienced yorkie person and they would have to be a stay at home person with no children or distractions.

| Does anyone live by this "breeder"?? Maybe someone can go and ask to see the pup in person, and weigh her? I don't think she's 5oz..but it would be fun to catch them up in a lie!!

| The sad thing about it is someone who doesn't know better might fall for this and waste $10,000 on one pup, when they could have gotten like 10!!

| They say that the pups dont come registered because they are being sold at "pet prices", and that AKC registration costs MORE? MORE than 10,000?? Thats a PET price? For what, and pet elephant? There is something wrong with a pup if it genuinely only weighs 5 oz at that age. Although I think that pup weighs more than that.

| A price tag that big makes me ill. I have heard of puppies being born under an ounce...not still being only 1 oz at 8 weeks though! The main problem is that every extreme teeny tiny(we're talking under 1 1/2 pounds, closer to 1 lb) full grown has such a short life span. They tend to pass away with no reason given. Right now yorkies are hot. I'm guessing in a few years even the tiniest won't sell for that high. At least we can hope. Granted, not everyone should own a dog that small but come on, you can find the right home for a tiny and NOT charge an arm and a leg. When you charge $5,000+ for a pet quality that's greed, plain and simple, no matter what excuse you use.
