Teapot Ears 1 Attachment(s) I was just wondering about this, and thought I'd ask...most of the TEAPOTS I have seen have floppy ears. The only one I can think of that doesn't is Buddy (Archie). Does anyone else have a teapot with erect ears?? Let's see a pic...either way!! |
1 Attachment(s) Now that's interesting! I never thought about it before. Can't wait to see; Of course here's Buddy and his erect ears: |

1 Attachment(s) Ramsey weighs a little over 11 pounds. Her ears stand up.... |
Bailey's ears stand up - but she also goes up stairs and looks down at us through the spindles - Love that pic!!!! :) |
Alphy does both. They are usually down around the house but they are up when we go out walking. (this may be the wind) hee hee |
Chachi has erect ears. His picture is in my avatar. He is the bigger one |
Moose's ears are most the time erect. When he is extra tired or "unsure" of something they sometimes will be floppy! :animal-pa |
2 Attachment(s) Snickers has "up" ears, he weighs about 10 pounds. |
Alyssa is l0 pounds and has erect ears. When she sees me with the camera her ears automatically flop. |
Bernie (get this...17 lbs now that he's filled in:eek: ) has floppy ears, but they aren't nearly as floppy as Gingers. I think if they'd been shaved as a pup they would stand. Sometimes when he's excited he stands them up. Gingers (13 lbs) are only up if she's laying on her back and the fall open.:p |

Yorkie Teapot Ears 1 Attachment(s) My Sampson (Sammy) weighs about 12 pounds. He has the prettiest ears, very erect. He is so expressive with his ears. I know when he is feeling good or not just by the way he holds his ears. Hope the picture comes thru. |

1 Attachment(s) My Tootie(16 lbs) man has down ears, he is sooo cute! love my man... |
4 Attachment(s) Last time Preston was weighed, he was 9 lbs. He goes to the vet tomorrow, so we will see, but I think he definately qualifies as a teapot. His ears have been up since just after we got him. He was 5 months when we got him though. Here are a couple of my fav pics |
Ears up or down our "TEAPOTS" are the cutest:p |
1 Attachment(s) If 9 lbs is teapot then here is my Fletcher, loud and proud with his up ears! :D :D |
Otis is 9 pounds. He's black and has very thick hair. If I'd have shaved his ears I think they would have stood, even now when they are trimmed they sometimes go up when he is curious. But usually, he's my down earred boy!! |
1 Attachment(s) Lanny McDonald has upright ears -- we call them his satelite dishes lol |
2 Attachment(s) My "teapot" (more of a keg than a teapot, though) is 20ish pounds and has floppy ears. Here's Harley Attachment 202083 Another of my big guy Attachment 202088 Tammy |
2 Attachment(s) This is my little 10 pound teapot, Toto. His ears are down but he can hold them up when he wants to. Especially if he wants a treat.....;) |
3 Attachment(s) Tucker is a teapot at 9 lbs. his ears are floppy, but I'll admit that I purposefully let the hair on his ears grow long and heavy cause I wanted him to have that puppy look. Now I realize it would have been better to let them stand up (they tried several times). I just hadn't seen any adult dogs with floppy ears and didn't realize that they kinda dissapear into all the other hair when floppy. I love him to pieces and still think he is adorable, but I think he'd be even cuter with "bat ears" tehehe. |
here is my 10 lb teapot |
