That is so sad!! What a little cutie! I sure hope she is returned. Makes you never want to take your yorkie outside. |
Yep, a very precious yorkie and obviously loved. It makes you think. |
Oh gee, I hate hearing about stollen yorkies... it is a very sad and tragic thing to happen to any family... praying this baby finds his mommy... |
What a cute baby! Oh I hope she's found. |
Oh no :( I hate hearing about dogs getting stolen :( It's so scary. People can be so aweful  I sure hope she gets her back |
Update I just received this message from the stolen yorkie's mom, Britany. "Thank you so much!!! Her name is Allie and was going to turn 2 this July She ment everything to me and it really means a lot that you are praying and helping!!! Thanks again" |
Do you know if she was microchipped? If she was, you could tell the owner to call ALL the Vets' offices that she possibly can, get their fax # and send the info along with a picture. Same thing with all the shelters. Tell her to call all the local TV stations to see if they won't help and run a picture. This is getting worse and worse. It's gotten to the point where I won't even take my girls out anywhere unless my husband is with me. (except for play-date) I use to take them to the parks, rides in the bike basket, walks, and to different stores, by myself, but not anymore. Maybe I should have just gotten a mixed breed dog. |

What a precious baby...my heart breaks for her Mommy...I can't imagine not knowing where my baby was...I hope she finds her soon |
Yes, I've told her about YT and about how several members have experience looking for lost and stolen yorkies and how we can be a help and support for her. I shared the "lost yorkie" tips we have posted here. I also asked for more info about what happened. So far, you know what I know. I just hope she decides to post here. |
Oh No!!! praying that she is returned safe.... |
This is horrible! I hope she is found and returned to her mommy soon! |
I think 1604 and 35 is closer to San Antonio? Maybe I'm wrong but just incase people around there keep an eye out! |
She just wrote me back and said she was having lunch at Camino Ranch by 1604 and 35. You are right. Thanks for that, I didn't know. When I googled it, it came back as just north of San Antonio. I guess she put ads up in several locations including Austin. (the more the better). She is also offering a reward. Anyway, keep thinking about little Allie, and looking for this missing yorkie from Texas. |
has she joined YT yet? Sorry, for asking again I was afraid I missed her thread. That list we have here on how to find a lost yorkie is really good, I hope she reads it. |
She said that she knew about YT and had been here, but she didn't say if she would post or if she's a member. I also sent her the link directly to the sticky with suggestions for lost yorkies in general discussion. I suspect that she's pretty overwhelmed by emails, so her responses are short and to the point with no extra info provided. Who would blame her? She really has no idea who I am. Let's just keep thinking about and praying for little Allie. |
San Antonio is rated as one of the worst 'dog napping' places in the country. for what its worth, and the police are worthless in helping. |
Judy, it is so wonderful that you are reaching out to her! You're right she doesn't know who you are, but sadly in about a 4 mth period I became friends with 2 lovely ladies who both lost their yorkies. The first one doesn't have a computer, so I went to her house & handed her the How to find a lost yorkie thread, printed out. And tried to do what I could to help - which wasn't much at the time, as I was going out of town. But while I was gone she did find her yorkie!! The other one is lzpeaches, I directed her to YT - she has appreciated the support she has here. I have met her in person and made posters with her, and driven the streets in hopes of finding her lost Lexy. But I'm sure lzpeaches was wary of me at first too - when they have so many people, some of them probably wackos, contacting them, but your care & concern can be appreciated. |

Did you have a yorkie stolen? If you did and I missed it, I'm so sorry that happened to you. :( |
Should I tell her to look for swap meets in that area? What would be your best advice? |
that is so sad. i really hope someone honest sees her and tells her where allie is. |
Yes it did happen to us, not that long ago, our baby was microchipped and thats our only hope of ever seeing her again. I have no advice really except to keep persuing! Not a day goes by that I don't miss my baby. |

It isn't your fault, it was a lesson learned, I think god allows things to happen for a reason, maybe somebody needed her in their lives. It hurts terribly and my heart breaks each time I read a story about a stolen/missing yorkie (or dog or child) because I know the pain it is to wonder. But I take comfort in the fact that I know she had a wonderful life with us. |
