Question, Dusty has started having gas, BAB gas. Anyway I went to the pet store yesterday and got a tablet that cuts down on gas, bad breath, urine smell,and body oder. He will not touch it. I tried everything to get him to eat it. Do any of you give your babies anything for this problem, and how do they like it?

What kind of tablet is that? Is it safe? Please be careful before giving them tablets from the pet store.

It is by NaturVet Pleasant breath plus. It says it stops stool eating, reduces breath and body oder, alleviates occasional gas, reduces stool and urine oder. I ask if it was safe and she said without a doubt.She knows what kind of trouble I have had with his skin and coat. She knows about as much about him as his vet however she is not a vet. he wont even lick the tablet much less eat it.

Lamb and rice skin and coat formula by select choice. It is a all natural food made from human qaulity food. It has no corn, wheat or by products.

I personally would not - if the dog has bad breath then I brush his teeth and as far as gas is concerned it's usually related to the food he's been having - try changing his food that should help... good luck

and let us know if anything changes

If Ellie was having bad gas, I think I'd change her food.
Yucca schidigera (an ingredient in this food) should be reducing urine and stool smell but it won't necessarily eliminate gas.
Flax seed is an allergen...

I cant give Peanut dog food that has Lamb in it . It upsets his tummy and alot of gas. I would change the food.

I wrapped the tablet in cheese and he gobbled it up. They have a chiken and rice in the same brand I may get that and see if that clears it up.
