| ![]() for the past 2 weeks or so my 6month old baby girl has been having watery poop, and its really starting to bug me. She will leave trails of slimy poop on her pee pee pads. i have been feeding her blue buffalo for about a month now and before that i was feeding her science diet. but when i started feeding her blue buffalo she was great in the begining. im not sure if the food is the problem. she is good, she runs around with gus and plays and plays. she doesnt seem sick or anything. i put food in her bowl (free feed) and have water available all day long. Is there anything i can do to make her poop hard again???? Please any suggestions would help. i also have a vet appointment on Friday, but is there anything i can use to make it stop before i go to the vet? |

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() This is NOT normal,I would not wait till your upcoming appointment on friday to get your puppy in. Diarrhea is a common ailment but if it has lasted for 24 hours or longer it needs to be checked out by your vet ASAP! This can be caused by many factors including viruses, bacteria, intestinal parasites, too much food, toxic substances or psychological upsets. You should never hesitate to call your vet if you feel something is not right with your pup or if you have any concerns regarding it's health.

| ![]() You can find plain canned pumpkin at the grocery store in the section where pie fillings are found. Are you giving her any kind of treats or chew sticks that could possibly be making her sick? Do you take her outside? I would be very concerned if she has watery diarrhea that long. She could possibly have coccidia or giardia. I would recommend taking a stool sample to the vets and get it checked. |

| ![]() Visit the vet and get some ALBON... it sure clear up the "runs" right away. I agree with everyone else... two weeks is a long time for runny stool. ![]() Best of luck! ![]()

| ![]() The vet needs to find out what is wrong with your pup before just giving Albon. If the puppy has giardia then he would need another kind of treatment. Albon works great for coccidia and bacterial infections. |
